Friendly welcome to the site. Level , tidy pitches. Excellent, clean shower and toilet block with toilet, basin and shower in one cubicle to provide privacy and space. A shelf in the shower would be good for shampoo etc to save having to put on the floor.Very quiet, peaceful location within walking distance to the town.

In a good position to branch out and enjoy the local beaches and villages, a good pub close by and all the amenities were top class

Unable to fault this site, it’s a hidden gem! Short walk lo local beach, cafe, shop and pub. On site facilities absolutely pristine and very friendly staff.

Hele valley holiday park is tucked away but in a fabulous location only a short walk to the beach, local pub and cafe. The park itself is beautifully looked after and all facilities are kept lovely and clean. We have stayed on both a large and a small pitch and find they are both very spacious and great value for money. The staff are all very friendly and are happy to help where needed. We would highly recommend this site and are looking forward to our next holiday there.

We stayed for 7 nights,we choose the extra large all weather fully serviced pitch. Glad we did as daughter & her partner decided to join us last minute,pitch plenty big enough to hold caravan, awning n 2 cars.The toilets & showers are fantastically clean only niggle ,no where to place shampoo,conditioner,shower gel & scrunchie while having a shower ,had to place on floor n hang scrunchie on door handle.,but didnt spoil the stay.The site is kept in tip top condition, cleanliness is unreal,a real gem . Scott on reception was extremely helpful and advised us perfectly.

We booked Hele Valley last minute and were very pleased with our booking. The toilet and shower blocks were clean, the staff welcoming and friendly, distance to amenities good, beach and walks were close by. We enjoyed the onsite Nature Walk and battled the South Coast path to Ilfracombe. Quieter park. We are inspired to camp again, despite the rain!!

I cannot fault this park , really big & beautiful pitches IMO 39 is the best ! The farm at the end of the pitch also did amazing roast dinners. Hele was lovely but as a visitor in June not much was open .

Our second visit, lovely little site and toilets are well maintained. Good pitch space for our Motorhome and good value for money. Bit disappointed that the grass and hedgerows were not maintained well this year! Maybe due after our visit. The nature walk in need of some proper maintenance and made a little safer. Locally you have a shingle beach that is surprisingly larger when tide goes out and you can explore the rocks and views. Local pub, local petrol station shop. Also a bus stop for those like us who Motorhome without a car and want to venture a bit further into town. All dog friendly which is a big yes for us. My only criticism is the site would benefit a little shop for those little daily needs otherwise lovely for a quiet short stay away from all those touristy sites.
