All facilities very clean and smart. Staff very helpful and friendly

I’ve stayed at this campsite once before and it’s a lovely tranquil setting surrounded by trees and a stream, within walking distance of the beach at Hele bay and a half hour walk into Ilfracombe, which is ideal for an evening meal. Facilities beautifully clean and not busy, and I love that the showers have the toilet and sink within the cubicle, with a shelf for your clothes. The only thing I found a little disappointing on this trip was the shower wasn’t very hot, which was a shame. Other than that a lovely campsite. Also very easy and communication was great when I emailed about late check in.

Great site, nice & quiet with very good facilities.good location for walks on coastal path towards Ilfracombe

Overall we were very impressed with the site, including facilities, location and pitches. We stayed for 3 nights and with 3 dogs, enjoyed the space and greenery of pitch 39 (would recommend). Hele bay is in easy walking distance and the local pub very friendly. We walked to Ilfracombe via the coastal path which was lovely. A very enjoyable stay and would sta again if returning to the area.

Great facilitites, very clean well kept toilets and showers.Beautifully kept grounds and pitches. Great walk into Ilfracombe and local to Hele Beach and local pub.Have been here several times and already booked for later in the year.

This was our second stay at the site, and although the site was very quiet, we found the staff very friendly and always happy to help. The location of the site allows you to walk to a nearby beach Hele Bay which is dog friendly, walking from the back of the site along a lane you can reach Ilfracombe with 30 mins and you pass a lovely pub The Thatched Inn which gas good food and a lovely beer garden. Back to the site, again the site is well presented with all grassed areas nicely cut and we'll maintained, the facilities block is well maintained and clean and tidy at all times, one little moan, for this time of the year the block could be a little warmer and the showers could still on for a longer time, apart from that another excellent stay and hope to return in the near future.Andrew, Jill & Buddy the spaniel

Everything was great. We stayed for two nights and had been cycling all fay and was looking fwd to a hot shower, u fortunately they were just luke warm and not a lot of pressure, not normally bothered but it was a cool April evening. The next day it was the same and also on our last morning, small thing but its a review of our stay. The pod was lovely, a shelf would be very handy here and there to put a drink on or your phone on when charging rather then everything on the floor. Also nice to turn off the outside PIR light.

Very easy site to get to,very clean and facilities very good always clean staff very good and always available for a chat very good coastall walks if your a walker or the bus stop outside is very easy pub and the cafe in the bay are very good for food and drinks

Check in was simples, very pleasant staff on the desk. Drove up through a spotless, well maintained site to our pitch that was a very good size and backed onto the stream running through the valley. Toilet block was nearby and immaculate. Well equipped pitch with power, water and grey drain included in it. Site was very pretty with good walks through the woods and a handy short cut down into the town. Also a useful cut through into Hele village from near to the site entrance. Pub, cafe and beach less than 10 minutes away.

Beautiful park ,very well kept. Nice staff ,friendly & helpful.Good size hardstand pitch with water & grey waste. Toilet block &washing up area spotlessly clean The toilets close11.30am-1pm ish for cleaning so time your shower/ loo breakShowers were bit too cool for us bordering on cold on occasion &could be warmer. I'm disabled so have to use the family room facilities which have a good set up with a chair for when showering , handrails around the toilet, the children set up was good too.Excellent site for the local Bay and a beautiful stroll into Ilfracombe. We didn't venture far so can't comment beyond Ilfracombe but passed several places a short drive away like the dinosaur attraction. A short stroll gets you to the local Spar which is stocked with essentials ,and chocolate 😋. Unfortunately the pub and cafe locally weren't opened during our stay so we ate out in Ilfracombe which had amazing fish & chips with great beer ! Definitely will return due to location & site
