This is an absolutely fabulous campsite right in the heart of nature. The location is perfect, offering the peacefulness of the great outdoors while remaining incredibly convenient. You can easily walk to the sea, the local pub, and nearby shops. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a stress-free escape.

Me, my friend and my dogs absolutely loved our stay. The site was well maintained, safe, quiet and peaceful. The facilities were fab. Gorgeous staff, friendly and very helpful. Fab location 10 minutes walk from the sea and 20 minutes in to town. Loads of amazing walks. What could be better really.

A great site a little tight getting into with a new 8foot wide van but got there great for the dog and used the dog shower a few times great kids park and shower and toilet blocks very clean great set up and the staff all great and very friendly nothing was too much trouble and the farm just outside the top gate great Sunday lunch also went to a few places the staff recommended great stuff will be back

Lovely friendly staff who offered really helpful suggestions about what was on in and around the campsite’s vicinity. Lots to explore locally and also amazing places to visit without needing to travel too far.Good sized flat hard standing pitches and super toilet facilities.Access is a bit tight for larger vehicles but definitely worth the effort.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The site was quite quiet for the summer holidays we thought. The entrance road to the site is quite tight. Thankfully we didn’t meet anything big on the route in or out. The park was good for the kids, it had plenty to keep them entertained for a while each day. The nature trail is small but would make a nice quiet walk with a dog. Some of the info signs were worn out and we thought something to keep the attention of the kids might have been nice, maybe some woodland animal signs to spot or similar. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean every single day. There aren’t many showers/toilets so it was fairly busy each morning, especially as the shower blocks shut down between 11:30am and 1pm. But that didn’t put a dampener on it for us at all. It’s a nice easy walk to Hele Bay and a good half hour walk to the harbour. Plenty of local places to visit by car. We traveled nearly 300 miles to visit and overall, we loved our stay in Devon.

Lovely clean site, well kept and close to beach. Plenty of walks for the dog.

From the warm welcome to the farewell everything was just fabulous cant recommend this site enough.We stayed for 3 nights and we didn't want to leave there was so much more we could have done in the area. We had the most fantastic sunday lunch in the farmhouse at the end of the campsite our warning would be do not eat a big breakfast before going g!! The cream tea in the Cornhill was just so nice and a huge thanks to Scott for letting us stay on site a little longer so we could enjoy this experience 😊 The facilities were spotless The campsite is immaculate the grounds staff are always busy at work keeping pitches tidy There was a lovely blend of campers,campervans motorhomes towing and static caravans families and couples all enjoying the site and the surroundings. It is a large site but we never felt crowded or squashed in. A fantastic stay cant wait to return.

Friendly staff who go out of there way to help we booked extra nights and staff are always able to find us a plot, we come every year and the cost is great they don’t overcharge not like some sites, the location is great with loads of walks around and cafes, pubs and beach which is dog friendly. Toilets and showers are spotless and cleaned regularly, the grounds themselves are very clean and staff driving around always say hello as if they already know you. We love this site and come every year and we always extend our stay because there’s lots to see.
