Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park is a third generation, family run caravan and camping site in North Devon, which sits overlooking 3 miles of beautiful and fabulous Golden Sands.
For over 30 years we have welcomed families and the generations that follow, helping to continue family traditions and make treasured self-catering Woolacombe holiday memories in our relaxed environment.
We even welcome dogs, so that every family member enjoys the holiday experience and feels included. So if it's a dog friendly holiday in Woolacombe you're after, you've come to the right place!
We offer a wide range of self-catering Holiday Homes to suit all budgets, from our modest and comfortable Ocean View Bronze Caravans to our quirky and popular Sea View Cabins. For that extra special experience, we have a selection of holiday homes with Hot Tubs, all with exceptional views of the North Devon coast!
If camping and touring is your thing, we do that too! All with breath-taking ocean or countryside views, 5 toilet and shower blocks with wetsuit and pet washing areas!
We are the perfect choice for a family orientated, relaxing holiday in North Devon. As the closest holiday park to Woolacombe Beach, our dedicated footpath to the beach will take you straight to the heart of Woolacombe through National Trust countryside within 15-20 minutes and allows you to avoid parking charges and explore the beautiful surroundings that North Devon has to offer.
Our enchanted off-road footpath takes you safely to Woolacombe beach and Woolacombe Village where you can enjoy family-friendly independent shops, restaurants, cafe's and bars, even with your furry friend if you decide to bring your dog!
If you prefer to relax from the Holiday Park, you can soak in the beautiful sunsets with a bottle of wine from our onsite shop or enjoy the views from the sun terrace in The Clubhouse with a cocktail and dinner.
As a small family owned and run business, we continually reinvest profits to improve the holiday park for your enjoyment. Over the past few years we have seen new caravans added to our fleet, chalet improvements, a new children’s park, Clubhouse, swimming pool and arcade refurbishment, a new sun terrace, new toilet and shower blocks for the camping and caravanning, road improvements, a new shop kitchen to extend their breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and recently we have added holiday homes with hot tubs, built more seasonal pitches and so much more.
During the evenings, the Clubhouse is 'the' place to be for a great night of family-friendly entertainment. Let loose and enjoy some music, dancing, first-class cabaret, cash bingo, game shows, and quizzes. This is the perfect rendezvous to unwind, kick back and make new friends. And if you fancy a bite to eat, there is a great selection of tantalising dishes to try. For those of you with a sweet tooth, we've got you covered with a selection of delicious desserts.

They are 1 mile from Woolacombe beach, but just a couple of minutes by car and 0.5 miles from the main site facilities. We have been coming to Woolacombe Sands for over 15 years and it never disappoints. A few years ago we decided it was time to stop as the children were now all adults, but we lasted 2 years before we all missed it too much and started booking again. The site is friendly, great facilities, always well kept, staff couldn’t be more helpful and we are so well placed to visit the many beautiful beaches, towns and villages that are along the coast near by. Special mention to curry on the beach at Barracaine. We have already booked next years and will be coming for many years to come, it’s a home by the sea ❤️

Very nice view, found the club house a bit overwhelming and didn’t make the most of the views
Very good facilities but club house drinks too expensive
Lovely area, view of sea lovely. We stayed on avenue 6 so gave us a good view. The toilet block is lovely and clean. The clubhouse is nice but only stayed for one drink as we found a pint of beer to be extortionate at £7.50 . Imagine staying all evening just how much that would cost a couple drinking 2 pints of beer. Won’t be returning as don’t see it value for money. Sticking to my holiday abroad from now on where it it’s definitely value for money. Really need to look at your club drink prices, I believe the holiday bay park charge between 4.50 and 5.50 a pint, maybe get in line with other holiday park clubhouse prices. Other than that it’s a lovely base for someone to stay but we enjoy using the facilities.

I hadn't stayed at woolacombe sands for over 20 yrs and wasn't disappointed on my return the park was fantastic, clean and tidy with a great shop lovely friendly staff and great facilities. The heated outdoor pool was an added bonus,the walk into woolacombe was an easy 15 min jaunt.My wife and I shall definitely return.

We enjoyed our time here and then extended our break.Silver caravan. Needs periodically cleaning regarding carpets and upholstery seating and matress protectors. Beautiful setting .grounds well maintained.
