Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park is a third generation, family run caravan and camping site in North Devon, which sits overlooking 3 miles of beautiful and fabulous Golden Sands.

For over 30 years we have welcomed families and the generations that follow, helping to continue family traditions and make treasured self-catering Woolacombe holiday memories in our relaxed environment.

We even welcome dogs, so that every family member enjoys the holiday experience and feels included. So if it's a dog friendly holiday in Woolacombe you're after, you've come to the right place!

We offer a wide range of self-catering Holiday Homes to suit all budgets, from our modest and comfortable Ocean View Bronze Caravans to our quirky and popular Sea View Cabins. For that extra special experience, we have a selection of holiday homes with Hot Tubs, all with exceptional views of the North Devon coast!

If camping and touring is your thing, we do that too! All with breath-taking ocean or countryside views, 5 toilet and shower blocks with wetsuit and pet washing areas!

We are the perfect choice for a family orientated, relaxing holiday in North Devon. As the closest holiday park to Woolacombe Beach, our dedicated footpath to the beach will take you straight to the heart of Woolacombe through National Trust countryside within 15-20 minutes and allows you to avoid parking charges and explore the beautiful surroundings that North Devon has to offer.

Our enchanted off-road footpath takes you safely to Woolacombe beach and Woolacombe Village where you can enjoy family-friendly independent shops, restaurants, cafe's and bars, even with your furry friend if you decide to bring your dog!

If you prefer to relax from the Holiday Park, you can soak in the beautiful sunsets with a bottle of wine from our onsite shop or enjoy the views from the sun terrace in The Clubhouse with a cocktail and dinner.

As a small family owned and run business, we continually reinvest profits to improve the holiday park for your enjoyment. Over the past few years we have seen new caravans added to our fleet, chalet improvements, a new children’s park, Clubhouse, swimming pool and arcade refurbishment, a new sun terrace, new toilet and shower blocks for the camping and caravanning, road improvements, a new shop kitchen to extend their breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and recently we have added holiday homes with hot tubs, built more seasonal pitches and so much more.

During the evenings, the Clubhouse is 'the' place to be for a great night of family-friendly entertainment. Let loose and enjoy some music, dancing, first-class cabaret, cash bingo, game shows, and quizzes. This is the perfect rendezvous to unwind, kick back and make new friends. And if you fancy a bite to eat, there is a great selection of tantalising dishes to try. For those of you with a sweet tooth, we've got you covered with a selection of delicious desserts.

The best holiday park , but spoilt this time by others .

Weve been using w sands for decades , camping and now with our tourer . We stsyed in april and our first 2 nights were awful . Hoards of youths and young welsh kids ....extremly ferrel , roaming aruond the site , shouting , screaming vandalising ,playing really loud music , knocking on sides of caravans. stone throwing and some having alcohol at up to 1am in the morning . It made us feel very unsafe , and there were no adults or park security around.When giving info to reception stsff they were sympathetic and gave us 2 future nights complementory which is nice .thank you.However it will make me double check next time before booking that we are not thete the ssme time as these louts . It makes you wonder ...where are the parents ? Other than that W sands is still the best site ...anywhere .! Beautiful views ,easy walk to shops and beach and good onsite facilities.

We came down for the weston tour and all went really well.Staff all friendly and very clean and tidy place.All near the beach walk is like 25 minutes very easy to get to.Kids enjoyed the swimming pool inside and outdoors also entertainment was really really good.The lady that did bingo she can sing fair play to her.The whole wk end went really well.Definitely like to use you again.

We have been coming for 5 yrs. Always good. Facilities are clean and good working order. Bar/shop and restaurants have a good variety and standard. Pitches are a good size and fairly flat.Staff are friendly and polite.Beach and town 15min walk.Dog friendly Wifi OK

PositivesLocation Great view from the top of the hill Food in the clubhouse was really good massive portions a bit too much if anything and really quick.Site was well maintained and spotlessStaff lovely and friendlyNegativesSound for kids club way too loud, you don't need 95db to communicate with 6 kids on the dancefloor - this was unbearable.Had a bacon and sausage baguette with mushroom cost £10.85 which I thought was a bit keen.Late night noise not policed hot tub kids up till 3 next door. Had to speak to them.We had top caravan but seemed not as wide as other places where we have paid similar money. caravans V close together.

Lovely site and facilities

We had a lovely short break here, we have been a few times now and love the site, it is very close to Woolacombe beach and town with access through a path for walking there.Great facilities, only criticism would be to possibly move the stage in the club house as with the current layout, there are only a few seats that you can actually see the stage. Other than that, the menu is good, the food is nice and the entertainment varied.It is not too overpriced and the pitches are a really good size, all the staff are friendly, very helpful and we enjoyed every minute there.

£7:50 a pint is extortionate I’ve have never known anywhere to charge this much and it really did feel like you were being ripped off. It was probably the biggest topic of discussion and one that was discussed with friends and family when returned.

Perfect location - lovely environment- we have been coming for 10 years and stayed in all of the different types of accommodation- can't fault for cleanliness etc.Lovely swimming pools, great bar (dogs allowed) good food.... friendly staff.... loads of beautiful places to visit within 30 mins of the park.... booked for August with Rachel on reception who is lovely and so helpful, as are all the staff and owners on site to offer that personal touch.
