The place was lovely and staff were amazing. The lodge we stayed in was good for the price we paid. Shame about the fishing, only caught fish in one pond. The main ponds nothing was biting for anyone! They need to restock the waters. It would benefit from having a dog park that you can let the pooches off for a run, there are some lovely walks to go on but dogs must be kept on leads due to the fishing and wildlife. Overall we did have a lovely break.

We stayed in a lodge with a hot tub so we could meet up with friends who were also staying on site in their camper van. The setting is beautiful with lots of lakes and grassed and wooded areas. There’s a big pub restaurant on site with a good variety on the menu and staff there were lovely and helpful. The lodge was really clean and fresh with everything you’d need for 4 people. Lots of space, an en-suite in the double room plus a twin room and a separate bathroom. A great kitchen area with microwave, dishwasher, oven and fridge and all utensils. It’s a great setup. Lodge was secluded and private with parking outside the door. We did have an issue with only half the jets working on the hot tub but we reported it and they said they’d already ordered the new part and it didn’t stop us using it. We stayed for two nights and thought it was good value for money.

We received 2 nights as part of a deal when purchasing our campervan. We decided to make it a 3 night stay and paid for an extra night. It looks good, front of house, when you arrive but the reality for us was much different. The pitch we were allocated was next to a large caravan with 3 greyhounds tied to adjacent trees. Not a good start.We called reception and were offered 2 othe r pitches which were on a dried out grassed area that look tired and badly kept. There was a poor guy with a caravan wandering around and he said "I don't know what we've come to".We exited the site, went back to reception and advised we wouldn't be staying on site. We asked if was possible to get a refund of our third nigh but the receptionist said we would have to make a written application.. I took that as a no and we left.It's a bit grubby and chivvy for us and we aren't snobbish in any way. I will be taking it up with our dealer who told me it was an amzing place. Not a good experience.

Very friendly staff great site, brilliant shower facilities. Plenty of fishing for all ages. A nice bar and great food. Didn't leave the site as was fishing and popping into Woodys bar.

We had a fabulous weekend at Woodlands Water park, the site is very clean with lots of woodland for walking our dog. The bar and restaurant are superb too. This is our first time here and would definitely go again.

Site is lovely , also play area is amazing , to much geese muck all over , was disappointed when couldn’t eat in the restaurant as. A large party what wasn’t on the site was booked in So advice always book table

Booking staff very friendly and helpful. Cabin clean and everything works well. Good value for money. Woods restaurant is nice area and food OK.

Staff very friendly and professional. Restaurant food not good. But the main reason for not returning is the goose mess could not get away from it was every were. The lodge was excellent clean well equipped.

Staff were friendly. Site was okay and the lakes clean and well maintained. Our major dislike were the amount of geese and the mess they leave everywhere. I love wildlife but sometimes the geese were a bit daunting!

Very warm and welcoming. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Woody's bar and restraunt correct atmosphere. Good selection of food available and very reasonably priced. Lovely to walk around the surrounding lakes and grounds. Plenty of fishing pegs, excellent bait shop on site. Really worth a relaxing break and value for money.
