Weekend visit to Wells

Morris, Sue - 03/05/2024

We visited Wells Touring Park for 3 nights in our Motorhome. The facilities were very good , showers spacious very clean and plenty of hot water. There is an online cafe/bar which was lovely and cosy and did a good range of teas/coffee and also alcoholic drinks. There is food available on Friday and Saturday evenings. We had pizza on Friday and they were excellent. Breakfast rolls are available on Sunday mornings. There is a bus stop outside the site which goes to Wells one way and Weston-super-Mare the other but they are quite infrequent. It is possible to walk into Wells but we didn't on this occasion as our friends had a car.Only negative is that the pitches are quite slopy and we could not get our Motorhome level even when it was on highest part of ramps. We were on pitch 19 at top of site and think this part is probably the worst area.. These pitches slope back to front and the ones nearest toilet block slope side to side so bring ramps with you.Overall this is a lovely

The site is in good location we could walk to Wells and Wookey hole .The site was very clean and staff very welcoming. We liked the food pod and the coffee shop /bar but felt that a shop selling essentials would have completed the package

Great facilities and location

Birkby, Patrick - 02/05/2024

This was our first stay at Wells Touring Park and we will definitely return. Friendly and helpful reception when we arrived and information provided was really helpful. The park is very well kept and the pitch was a good size and reasonably flat. All the facilities are well maintained and clean. The cafe/bar is lovely, very welcoming and reasonably priced. There is a bus stop right outside the site, Cheddar one way and Wells the other. We walked into Wells with our dog on the Saturday and it took about 25 minutes.

We were only staying for one night as my son had an event to attend nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the small bar/cafe area was ideal. Also the pizzas being prepared onsite were delicious. I would return and I would recommend Wells Touring Park to friends.

Superb Site

Austen, Mike - 01/05/2024

We spent 5 days at this adults only park and found it to be superb from our point of view. It was quiet, well maintained and with excellant facilities that were kept spotless. We have mobility problems and found that our request to be near the facilities was acceded to which was very helpful. The staff with whom we came into contact were friendly and knowledgeable about the locality even though the bus timetable had been mislaid. We would certainly use the site again when visiting the area.
