Strawberry Fields is the best area to stay in. Spacious pitches and a short walk to the facilities, pool and bar/restaurant. Lots of inside and outside seating areas. Could do with a few more in the shade though. Children's play area opposite the bar. Toilet and shower block warm, clean and tidy. Very helpful and friendly staff. There are no walks you can undertake from the site. There are no footpaths on the road so walking on them would be dangerous. You need to drive to visit other areas or to undertake the local walking routes. However, the bus stops just opposite the camp site if you don't want to drive.

Mostly quiet , lovely view . Can be a little tight for large units but once piched no problem with entry and exit . Good facilities for a smaller site .Close to some beautiful attractions such as the Gorge and Wells cathedral and not to far from the lovely beaches at Weston-super-Mare

We booked this on a whim mainly due to the low cost for a lodge for 4 days. We were dubious due to the reviews received under the previous owners, but it seems to have improved since Wookey took over. The lodge was clean, well presented and excellent value. The hot tub was nice and private and also very clean. The pool was fine - warm and clean too. We were a bit disappointed to find that the bar & restaurant was closed however. The site was very quiet, with excellent views. The animal trail was fun for the little one too although the animals disappeared after the first day! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good value holiday park to use as a base to explore the mendips and Somerset area.

Myself and my daughter stayed at Bucklegrove for 4 nights in a two bed holiday home. The location was excellent for us, easy access to Glastonbury and Wells. We were looking forward to the bar and restaurant however we were told this was not open. The staff were friendly and helpful, the caravan was ok.

Really enjoyed our stay and the place is really well run and cared for by the owners. There were quite a lot of season caravan residents, which didn’t quite hit with our holiday making, but the management are obviously doing a brilliant job, which we really appreciated.Loved the pool too.

Really nice campsite with great facilities.We love they have so much to offer.The only issue we had is the pub closed really late one night (well passed 1am) and when people came out they woke my children up and were pretty scared as they were extremely loud!

Friendly and helpful staff throughout the stay, the park is clean and tidy with great facilities. Will definitely be returning

Friendly and welcoming staff. Tidy park without being manicured and sterile. Clean and functional facilities. Pool was warm and a nice distraction on a rainy day, though probably busy in high season. Bar/restaurant area looked immaculate. Can’t comment on the food as we only had a drink. Location is good, with something to visit in all directions. So many campsites these days have signs everywhere which seem to be shouting orders at the campers. Not here! It’s relaxed. It’s how campsites should be! And it was excellent value for money!
