Recognised with a host of accolades and awards, Trevalgan is a five-star camping and touring park set just two miles from the picturesque town of St Ives, the jewel of Cornwall’s crown. Enveloped by open farmland and adorned with gorse and heather-covered hills, the park boasts stunning coastal and countryside views, providing an idyllic escape for those seeking a harmonious blend of nature, sustainability, and luxury.
At the heart of Trevalgan's commitment is sustainability, evident in every aspect of their operations. The park, which the owners lovingly call home, serves as more than just a camping destination; it's a space carefully crafted to share the beauty of its surroundings with visitors. This commitment aligns with their efforts to minimise environmental impact and contribute to the preservation of the surrounding natural wonders.
The park's facilities reflect a dedication to comfort and convenience. The toilets and showers, equipped with underfloor heating, hairdryers, and multiple charging points, offer a touch of luxury. Unisex/family rooms provide adjustable temperature and water pressure, catering to the needs of both adults and children. A thoughtful addition includes half-size baths for little ones to rinse off sandy toes, complete with shower hoses. The provision of a fully equipped accessible shower room emphasizes inclusivity.
Trevalgan understands the dynamics of family life, evident in the meticulously planned outdoor children's play area. From a bespoke pirate ship to a net climbing pyramid and Viking swing, the equipment caters to various age and ability groups. The sports area encourages ball games and kite flying, while the Games Room offers entertainment for older children with table tennis, pool, and table football.
The on-site shop complements the camping experience, stocking a variety of local produce, camping supplies, and everyday groceries. Freshly baked baguettes and pastries, along with a selection of hot beverages, add a delightful touch to mornings. (Please note that we do not stock any alcohol/tobacco products or newspapers).
A unique feature of Trevalgan is its accessibility to St Ives through a direct, regular bus service right at the campsite entrance. This hassle-free transportation option accommodates wheelchairs, pushchairs, dogs, and surfboards, facilitating easy exploration of the nearby renowned tourist destination.
St Ives stands as a cultural and recreational hub. The world-class golden beaches and turquoise seas attract families year after year. The cobbled streets house art galleries, unique shops, and restaurants serving locally sourced produce. Visitors can savour Cornish cream teas or artisan ice cream while absorbing the charm of the harbour-front cafes. St Ives becomes not just a destination but a continuation of the Trevalgan experience, where nature, culture, and relaxation converge seamlessly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trevalgan. The staff were super friendly and helpful and kept the whole site and facilities spotless. We absolutely loved being in the dog free area. To be able to step out onto the grass barefoot and not worry about dog residue was a real bonus. It was a pleasure not to have to endure campers walking their dogs across the edge of your pitch as if it’s their god given right! Thank you, it’s so important for families with little ones to feel safe from dogs. We used the coast path to walk into and back from st Ives. We also discovered how beautiful the hills are behind the campsite for some great views across to St Michael’s Mount. We ate at The Tinners Arms at Zennor - good pub food. We visited and walked Sennen Cove, Lands End, Cape Cornwall, Godrevy Point and enjoyed lots of beautiful beaches in the region. A tour of Levant Mine was fascinating and well worth the visit. All in all we had a fabulous holiday at Trevalgan. Thank you.
An amazing week at Travalgan. Beautiful weather, amazing views, clean and modern facilities and friendly and helpful staff. Already booked for next year
Very peacefulGreat walks from your doorstepLoved the shuttle bus to St IvesModern facilitiesFriendly staff
Would have done more walking if dry - but even so the regular 44 bus gave me access to St Ives - library, pubs for meals (ie. Witherspoons) good scenic beaches and places to go.
This is the third time we've stayed after Trevalgan. We really enjoyed the relaxed site with its pristine amenities. We also fell in love with the coast walk down to St Ives directly from the site. It's beauty cannot be missed!! The bus service directly to and from the campsite door to St Ives is also a huge bonus and a big draw for us to return. It's value for money too so a double winner!! Will most definitely return in the future .
My husband & I stayed here for four nights . The site was spotlessly clean, tidy with excellent facilities. Staff were all so friendly & knowledgeable about the area. Would highly recommend. We’ll definitely be returning.
Everything was perfect 👌 highly reccomend. Didn't want to come home.
Recommend Matthew Stevens Fish St Ives on they deliver fish to Trevalgan for free and it's all superb.
Best campsite we've stayed at and we've been to lots. Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean facilities and a relaxed atmosphere. Loved being on a non doggy pitch. Great walks directly from the site and a bus picks you up from site to take you to St Ives. Well stocked shop with fresh pastries. Good sized pitches. Site gets very windy so be sure to peg everything down.
Bus was really handy especially if you did the amazing walk into St Ives and got the bus back. Incredible views
