Recognised with a host of accolades and awards, Trevalgan is a five-star camping and touring park set just two miles from the picturesque town of St Ives, the jewel of Cornwall’s crown. Enveloped by open farmland and adorned with gorse and heather-covered hills, the park boasts stunning coastal and countryside views, providing an idyllic escape for those seeking a harmonious blend of nature, sustainability, and luxury.
At the heart of Trevalgan's commitment is sustainability, evident in every aspect of their operations. The park, which the owners lovingly call home, serves as more than just a camping destination; it's a space carefully crafted to share the beauty of its surroundings with visitors. This commitment aligns with their efforts to minimise environmental impact and contribute to the preservation of the surrounding natural wonders.
The park's facilities reflect a dedication to comfort and convenience. The toilets and showers, equipped with underfloor heating, hairdryers, and multiple charging points, offer a touch of luxury. Unisex/family rooms provide adjustable temperature and water pressure, catering to the needs of both adults and children. A thoughtful addition includes half-size baths for little ones to rinse off sandy toes, complete with shower hoses. The provision of a fully equipped accessible shower room emphasizes inclusivity.
Trevalgan understands the dynamics of family life, evident in the meticulously planned outdoor children's play area. From a bespoke pirate ship to a net climbing pyramid and Viking swing, the equipment caters to various age and ability groups. The sports area encourages ball games and kite flying, while the Games Room offers entertainment for older children with table tennis, pool, and table football.
The on-site shop complements the camping experience, stocking a variety of local produce, camping supplies, and everyday groceries. Freshly baked baguettes and pastries, along with a selection of hot beverages, add a delightful touch to mornings. (Please note that we do not stock any alcohol/tobacco products or newspapers).
A unique feature of Trevalgan is its accessibility to St Ives through a direct, regular bus service right at the campsite entrance. This hassle-free transportation option accommodates wheelchairs, pushchairs, dogs, and surfboards, facilitating easy exploration of the nearby renowned tourist destination.
St Ives stands as a cultural and recreational hub. The world-class golden beaches and turquoise seas attract families year after year. The cobbled streets house art galleries, unique shops, and restaurants serving locally sourced produce. Visitors can savour Cornish cream teas or artisan ice cream while absorbing the charm of the harbour-front cafes. St Ives becomes not just a destination but a continuation of the Trevalgan experience, where nature, culture, and relaxation converge seamlessly.

What a fantastic experience - incredibly friendly staff, impeccable pitch and spotless facilities - highly recommended! Having the regular bus service into St Ives was incredibly helpful and recommend the coastal path walk into town too
Very clean site, shop needs to be better stocked milk, bread, frozen food etc staff very helpful and friendly, road to the reception could be better to narrow if you was to meet another caravan
all staff and all facilities Excellentgreat site to stay with a bus srevice available on site and a really good walk along the coastal path into St ives if your up for it
Probably the nicest campsite facilities we’ve ever stayed on, shower experience felt like a 5 stater hotel, spotlessly clean, cracking location, staff great and everyone friendly and happy. Thank you!
We have stayed at this park on a couple of occasions and cannot fault it in anyway. As soon as you arrive you are greeted by the most lovely people. The park is kept beautiful from the pitches to the shower rooms. The bus into St Ives is absolutely fab. O worries about travelling as it comes into the park at regular intervals. This is a family run park and they are so helpful.
This was a fabulous site with friendly staff and great amenities. The bathrooms were modern, warm and immaculate. The pitches were great and grounds well kept.Loved that the bus into St.Ives came into the campsite and ran every hour.Even the launderette was excellent and the machines easy to operate. Paying with a credit card was useful rather than trying to find change. One of the best sites we have been on.
After the hard walk up to the campsite along the coastal path, to arrive at such a great campsite. For the facilities available the campsite price was a bargain. The lockers to charge phones/battery packs wewre also great getting the chance to charge everything we needed. The toilets and showers were spotless and then being able to get a bus back down to St ives was perfect with some lovely bars and fish and chips. A great stay and would definately come back here for a holiday.
Lovely tidy beautiful clean camp. Wonderful facilities with great friendly staff. Highly recommend staying here.
We have a Campervan and have stayed at 5 different campsites during the month of June 2026. Trevalgan without doubt, the best! The phone signal was not too good but everything else and we mean EVERYTHING was fantastic. The facilities, the warm welcome from staff, the bus service into St Ives, the cleanliness, the well kept pitches, it was superb! A lovely quiet site with great views. We would return and would recommend to all. Whatever you are doing Trevalgan it works. Well Done. Thank you.
We stayed at the Trevalgan Touring Park during a patch of bad weather. However the site was excellent, the best toilet/shower block that I have stayed at, and we have been to a lot of Camping & Motorhome sites since having our first motorhome. The site is very well cared for and has a small shop with essentials. There is an excellent bus service which is daily and runs every hour up until 11pm. Food deliveries are also available from several local restaurants. We were with my sister and brother in law, who stayed on after us, and they agreed that this was a really lovely site. Lovely hosts too.
