Recognised with a host of accolades and awards, Trevalgan is a five-star camping and touring park set just two miles from the picturesque town of St Ives, the jewel of Cornwall’s crown. Enveloped by open farmland and adorned with gorse and heather-covered hills, the park boasts stunning coastal and countryside views, providing an idyllic escape for those seeking a harmonious blend of nature, sustainability, and luxury.
At the heart of Trevalgan's commitment is sustainability, evident in every aspect of their operations. The park, which the owners lovingly call home, serves as more than just a camping destination; it's a space carefully crafted to share the beauty of its surroundings with visitors. This commitment aligns with their efforts to minimise environmental impact and contribute to the preservation of the surrounding natural wonders.
The park's facilities reflect a dedication to comfort and convenience. The toilets and showers, equipped with underfloor heating, hairdryers, and multiple charging points, offer a touch of luxury. Unisex/family rooms provide adjustable temperature and water pressure, catering to the needs of both adults and children. A thoughtful addition includes half-size baths for little ones to rinse off sandy toes, complete with shower hoses. The provision of a fully equipped accessible shower room emphasizes inclusivity.
Trevalgan understands the dynamics of family life, evident in the meticulously planned outdoor children's play area. From a bespoke pirate ship to a net climbing pyramid and Viking swing, the equipment caters to various age and ability groups. The sports area encourages ball games and kite flying, while the Games Room offers entertainment for older children with table tennis, pool, and table football.
The on-site shop complements the camping experience, stocking a variety of local produce, camping supplies, and everyday groceries. Freshly baked baguettes and pastries, along with a selection of hot beverages, add a delightful touch to mornings. (Please note that we do not stock any alcohol/tobacco products or newspapers).
A unique feature of Trevalgan is its accessibility to St Ives through a direct, regular bus service right at the campsite entrance. This hassle-free transportation option accommodates wheelchairs, pushchairs, dogs, and surfboards, facilitating easy exploration of the nearby renowned tourist destination.
St Ives stands as a cultural and recreational hub. The world-class golden beaches and turquoise seas attract families year after year. The cobbled streets house art galleries, unique shops, and restaurants serving locally sourced produce. Visitors can savour Cornish cream teas or artisan ice cream while absorbing the charm of the harbour-front cafes. St Ives becomes not just a destination but a continuation of the Trevalgan experience, where nature, culture, and relaxation converge seamlessly.

Had a great stay at Trevalgan, the pitch was level and immaculate. The facilities were second to none, with every thing you would need. We loved the outside showers and the well stocked shop. This is a great site for singles, couples and families. It has great access to St Ives, either on foot or by bus service and you can get a taxi home.
Hello ElizabethThank you for reviewing your recent stay.We are pleased you found the facilities immaculate and had a great stay.We hope to welcome you again when you are next in St Ives.RegardsAnnette
Very clean looked after site spacious pitches .Lovely staff really friendly and helpful. Road into the site area is rough terrain /bumpy which is not great for the tourer. Regular bus at the reception satisfactory charge.
Hello MartinThank you for your review. We are pleased you found our facilities clean and our staff friendly and helpful. Our quiet, rural location in the West Penwith AONB is one of the main reasons guests choose to stay with us but it is always good to receive feedback and ideas for future developments.RegardsAnnette
We had a wonderful time at Trevalgan. Thanks to the great service team, we were able to move to a spot sheltered from the wind. The park was quiet, clean and with beautiful green areas. The sanitary facilities were by far the best we found on our trip to England and everything was to our complete satisfaction. We would love to come back!
Hello CatherineWe are thrilled you had such a wonderful stay and we are pleased we could accommodate your request for more shelter. It is lovely to hear that our facilities were the best that you encountered during your trip to England! We do hope you come back again.RegardsAnnette
Hello SiegfriedThank you for the lovely review of your recent stay.We are pleased you enjoyed our wonderful location and facilities and very much hope you choose to stay with us again if you are back in Cornwall.Best wishesAnnette
Fantastic set up for families, really appreciated the toddler half bath, playground and football field! Facilities were fantastic and incredibly clean. Convenient bus service down into St Ives which stops at the campsite. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you!
Hello SophieThank you for reviewing your stay and we are so pleased you and your family all had such a great time and enjoyed our family-friendly facilities. We very much hope that you choose to come and stay again!RegardsAnnette
This was our first stay at Trevalgan, and it was perfect. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, even offering us a different pitch to suit my mobility needs. The site was beautifully looked after and the facilities were excellent. The bus service to St. Ives was very convenient. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Hello HelenThank you for your review and we always endeavor to try and accommodate any special requests to make your stay with us that little bit more special or comfortable. It is lovely to read that you will be coming to stay with us again and we look forward to welcoming you soon.RegardsAnnette
Carefully drive down to the site as it is a public road and not the responsibility of the camp and very narrow. The staff at reception are very friendly and give loads of information. The shop is sufficiently stocked for what you need and has a nice choice of local products which we purchased to take home. The washroom facilities are spotless and again the young staff team of staff on hand cleaning were friendly and chatty. The camping spot was excellent with no sign of previous campers. Well looked after grounds. Nice play area for children to play, which was i observed being safety checked in the morning by the maintenance team. Great no44 bus service every hour into St Ives a short ride as parking is not great. For us the weather was not great windy and rainy spells but did not spoil our holiday. Would we return definitely, but would have to consider the 9 hour drive again... keep up the good work...
Hello KevinThank you for your review and we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Our staff take great pride in the maintenance of the grounds and facilities and we are very proud of the small, local producers that we support in our onsite shop.We are sorry the weather was less than desirable during your stay but very much hope you choose to return to Cornwall again soon as it truly is a wonderful location when the sun shines (although 9 hours is a very long drive!).RegardsAnnette
Hello KimThanks for the five star review and we hope you return again soon!RegardsAnnette
We stayed at Trevalgan for 7 nights in mid May and wished we could have stayed longer. The site is tidy and well maintained by the pleasant and helpful staff. The facilities were always clean with numerous shower rooms being available when the rest of the block was being cleaned. The site is a credit to all those working there. A site they can be very proud of! Trevalgan also benefits from being in a beautiful location near the stunning north coast of Cornwall. Local places of interest can easily be accessed by bus or car whilst walking routes are numerous direct from the site. We have already booked a return visit later in the year.
Hello LizThank you for reviewing your stay and we are so pleased that you enjoyed it so much that you have already re-booked!We very much look forward to welcoming you to Trevalgan again soon.RegardsAnnette
