A caravan and camping site near Lincoln, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park & Sundown Adventureland. All just a short drive away from our idyllic camp site.

Camping here is an ideal base to visit the local area, Lincoln Cathedral is clearly visible from the site, and we are quite lucky the Red Arrows often practice over the farm. There are many attractions in the area, such as Sherwood Forest visitor centre, the beautiful Clumber Park, Doddington Hall and a little further away such as Nottingham & Creswell Crags.

Trentfield Farm accepts, tents, caravans, motorhome’s and VW campers. We have electrical hook up for those who require it, and 4 way pitches if you wish to camp with your friends in a group. We welcome BBQ’s but campfires & fire pits are not permitted.

The Park has flat level grass pitches, optional electrical hook ups, a modern amenity block as well as non communal family wash rooms, a recycling facility, and a large washing up area as well as a washing machine and tumble drier. We don’t have a shop on the park, but do have a vending machine for milk etc. We are also dog friendly.

Need electric for charging those gadgets? You don’t need to worry, we charge phones, ipads, laptops etc free of charge in the office.

Within a walk from the park are two pubs, the Ferry Boat Inn a 10 minute stroll down the tow path, and in the main village The Bee’s Knees, serving award winning ales. (It’s also famed for its gin library), both serving great food. We also have a nearby shop a short drive away, as well as a number of local take away’s that deliver to site.

The park is particularly attractive to those who enjoy walking and cycling, with miles of quiet roads, tracks and footpaths.

So if you are looking for an ideal base for camping or caravan site near Lincoln, Clumber Park or Sherwood forest, you are in the right place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we had trouble with and that was when we had a shower there was no where to put you clothes and towels and everything got wet as for everything else we were happy with.

Very friendly and easy check in process. This is a nice quiet site right at the side of the River Trent. Plenty of area to have a few different walks and just a sort walk to the nearest pub for food and drink. No issues whatsoever.

Quiet site in the country

We stopped for a weekend in late September and the site was around a third full. The facilities were spotless and all amenities were available. Beautiful walks along the river Trent and nearby villages. We visited the local pub the Ferry-boat Inn on both nights and found the food very good with live music on Saturday evening. The pitch was large and flat with EHU, a great location to explore Lincoln, Clumber Park and surrounding area. Only negative the showers are small and your clothes get wet unless you leave them outside the cubicle which is not ideal, same in the ladies also my wife tells me. Overall a great weekend if you like quiet and relaxing.

Nice quiet site

Our first time at Trentfield farm, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pitch was flat grass and the ehu was good. Toilets and showers were spotless and modern, hot water was just right throughout my shower. The place is very peaceful and full of wildlife and not far to Lincoln. The only points of improvement I would say is mark out the pitches because we got a little confused if we were in the right spot .Also if they could do a flushable toilet for the waste chemical point instead of having a grate for both waste water and toilet. It would stop the toilet paper hanging onto the bars . Overall I will definitely be coming back and I would recommend it to anybody if they want a little get away . Thanks for a lovely weekend.
