Our sole aim is to provide a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy the surroundings, whether it is on one of our touring pitches, a stay in our lovely Bed & Breakfast or simply just a days fishing.
Our small & friendly Lincoln Touring site has great facilities. Our Lincoln Bed & Breakfast is available in two high quality en-suite rooms. Our two pretty lakes are for the use of all our guests & are a wonderful habitat for wildlife. They are great for a short walk with plenty of benches on which to take a break & watch the waterfowl & other birds. There is also good Lincoln Carp & Coarse fishing for all levels of experience from beginners to experienced anglers looking for their new personal best.
Our B&B, Caravan/Motorhome Site & fishing Lakes are set within 8.5 acres of beautiful Lincolnshire countryside yet you will be only 5 miles from the centre of Lincoln with its numerous tourist attractions and great shopping areas.
There is a regular bus service from just outside the site that will take you into Lincoln or to the market towns of Louth and Horncastle and also to Skegness.
We are an over 18s only location. A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are very welcome at both the touring site and lakeside when fishing, we do not allow dogs in the B&B rooms.
You can spend time relaxing on one of the benches positioned around the lakes, admiring the views or taking time to photograph or paint the scenery.
Alternatively, visit the many local attractions including the City of Lincoln, where there is much to see with a variety of shops and restaurants and of course the Cathedral and Castle which you should not miss during your visit.
The Lincolnshire Wolds and Coast are only a short drive away with wonderful villages and resorts that cater for all tastes.
You can enjoy a great days fishing on one of the 40 generously spaced fishing pegs set around the two lakes. Flush toilets and a small kitchen are positioned near to the lakes for the comfort of all our guests and visitors.
Here at Langdale Lakes we welcome Caravans & Motorhomes. All of our pitches have 16amp metered electric hook-up (see pricing page) and a fresh water tap (water not on pitches in winter months due to colder weather and possibility of freezing pipes, water will still be available from alternative location in winter).
Amenity building is provided for tourers only and are equipped with cubicles containing sink, toilet & shower. Dishwashing facilities are also available within a lit & sheltered area at the amenity building.
A further building is also provided for use by everyone visiting us during summer months including tourers, and those fishing containing an internal washing up area, with microwave oven, washing machine and tumble drier.
High quality bed & breakfast rooms are located on the ground floor. We have two en-suite bedrooms, one fitted as a double, the other as a twin. All rooms are furnished to high standards with comfortable bedding.
