Great will be returning

The Staff were absolutely brilliantly nice! The lady in the office could not have been any more helpful if she tried. The pitch we had was well located with a view of the lake and was in perfect order. The toilet block was the cleanest one ive seen on any site. Loads of lakes to choose from for fishing and nice walks with the dogs. Only thing i think couls be better, is some more stuff for the kids. But they do have a park next to the toilet block.

Nicely out of the way site. Larger than expected as 80 acres. Paths to walk around lakes.Toilet/shower cubicles nice and toasty & clean.Kingfisher cafe/bar was very friendly and welcoming. Thursday night had great time at bingo with basket food and a cider.. breakfast on Friday morning too. All in all very pleasant stay.

We made a booking on 19.11.24 for 1 night on 28.11.24 however we had a gas leak and were stuck in a garage so emailed them on 25.11.24 to explain the situation and to ask if we could cancel. We never got a response so re emailed on 01.12.24 to see if they would reimburse us, the responded saying that as we had not given them 14 days notice there was nothing they could do! As this was mid week and out of season I wouldn't have expected that they were fully booked so our booking prevented them re selling the pitch to someone else . Unfortunately the gas leak didn't give us 14 days notice so there wasn't much i could could do to give them notice! They are just after the money and aren't flexible at all.

Pitch 7 needs to be made into a hard standing pitch its just grass really.Not any hard standing left . Love the super pitches

Site generally ok, but toilets dirty. Clean when arrived on Friday but no cleaning appeared to have taken place after that, and we left on Monday, by which time there was only 1 partial toilet roll across 5 toilets. Also, needs some sort of lighting along the path - completely black and can't even make out where the path is.

This is our second visit it’s a great venue has everything you need, fishing is excellent, camping facilities are great, cafe good, well stocked tackle shop with helpful staff.Everyone is so friendly and helpful.Only disappointed thing was there was a match on all the ponds but 2 which were not very good the second time we visited.Will go back though

Great value for money, excellent facilities and lovely views of lakes. Large park so plenty of space between caravans for privacy , good entertainment on the weekends on site. Bar open pub hours for a drink and a socialise, Good food, great breakfast! And sunday lunch, just pre book to make sure you get a table.

As it was the weekend we were limited as to where we could fish most of the fishery was taken by matches
