A caravan and camping site near Lincoln, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park & Sundown Adventureland. All just a short drive away from our idyllic camp site.

Camping here is an ideal base to visit the local area, Lincoln Cathedral is clearly visible from the site, and we are quite lucky the Red Arrows often practice over the farm. There are many attractions in the area, such as Sherwood Forest visitor centre, the beautiful Clumber Park, Doddington Hall and a little further away such as Nottingham & Creswell Crags.

Trentfield Farm accepts, tents, caravans, motorhome’s and VW campers. We have electrical hook up for those who require it, and 4 way pitches if you wish to camp with your friends in a group. We welcome BBQ’s but campfires & fire pits are not permitted.

The Park has flat level grass pitches, optional electrical hook ups, a modern amenity block as well as non communal family wash rooms, a recycling facility, and a large washing up area as well as a washing machine and tumble drier. We don’t have a shop on the park, but do have a vending machine for milk etc. We are also dog friendly.

Need electric for charging those gadgets? You don’t need to worry, we charge phones, ipads, laptops etc free of charge in the office.

Within a walk from the park are two pubs, the Ferry Boat Inn a 10 minute stroll down the tow path, and in the main village The Bee’s Knees, serving award winning ales. (It’s also famed for its gin library), both serving great food. We also have a nearby shop a short drive away, as well as a number of local take away’s that deliver to site.

The park is particularly attractive to those who enjoy walking and cycling, with miles of quiet roads, tracks and footpaths.

So if you are looking for an ideal base for camping or caravan site near Lincoln, Clumber Park or Sherwood forest, you are in the right place.

I camped for 14 nights for work purposes, great experience, lovely clean facilities. Staff were most helpful, Lauren was professional friendly and helpful to me. Can’t fault the set up, friendly atmosphere with everyone I met. Loved the walk to Cottam power station, at 4.30am , so much wildlife, the bird songs on the camp site is joyful. Give it a go, the place , fantastic facilities, won’t disappoint you. Thanks for a wonderful time , kind regards Peter bowler 🙏👍

Tranquil peaceful family camping

Jarrett, Christopher - 09/05/2026

Our first camping trip of the year was perfect. It was peaceful like other visits, the new addition of the food cart was a bonus we tried the pizzas and the breakfast cobs over the bank Holiday weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted within 2 minutes and guided to our spot. Although we were surrounded by campervans and caravans it was peaceful and our toddler could run free in the rally field. We love camping here and walking along the scenic routes around. We will be back soon for another family camping trip

First Stay

First time stay here. Lovely and clean. Showers clean but if you have anything on the hooks everything gets wet so take a waterproof bag to put your clothes in. Postion of our caravan was on Main Field 16 good spot however a tent was pitched on front of us,thats not the issuse, the issue was their car parked right in front of our van. It would have better for it to be parked the otherside so it was then at back of a Caravan, this was how they were told to park. Very strict parking. The wardens are new and a young couple this season and he was lovely and very informative whereas the female really didn't know what she was doing and didn't see alot of her. There's a lovely walk along the riverside to the Ferry Boat pub which is about a 10 min walk and then there's the Bees Knees which is in the village and thats about 20mins walk. Both are cracking pubs to visit. Overall we had a nice stay but it's not on the top of our revisit list

Excellent site

Excellent location with lovely riverside walks. As a campervan owner it would be great if the water fill point was away from the pot wash area and there was a facility to drain fresh and grey water prior to leaving

Lovely site but costly on a Rally Field

Birch, Liz - 08/05/2026

Well looked after site, very organised, welcoming staff.Maybe better adverting of visiting food vendors, as we didn't know about their Sunday pork sandwiches and Monday breakfasts until too late. The price for the rally field feels expensive even for a bank holiday.
