A caravan and camping site near Lincoln, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park & Sundown Adventureland. All just a short drive away from our idyllic camp site.
Camping here is an ideal base to visit the local area, Lincoln Cathedral is clearly visible from the site, and we are quite lucky the Red Arrows often practice over the farm. There are many attractions in the area, such as Sherwood Forest visitor centre, the beautiful Clumber Park, Doddington Hall and a little further away such as Nottingham & Creswell Crags.
Trentfield Farm accepts, tents, caravans, motorhome’s and VW campers. We have electrical hook up for those who require it, and 4 way pitches if you wish to camp with your friends in a group. We welcome BBQ’s but campfires & fire pits are not permitted.
The Park has flat level grass pitches, optional electrical hook ups, a modern amenity block as well as non communal family wash rooms, a recycling facility, and a large washing up area as well as a washing machine and tumble drier. We don’t have a shop on the park, but do have a vending machine for milk etc. We are also dog friendly.
Need electric for charging those gadgets? You don’t need to worry, we charge phones, ipads, laptops etc free of charge in the office.
Within a walk from the park are two pubs, the Ferry Boat Inn a 10 minute stroll down the tow path, and in the main village The Bee’s Knees, serving award winning ales. (It’s also famed for its gin library), both serving great food. We also have a nearby shop a short drive away, as well as a number of local take away’s that deliver to site.
The park is particularly attractive to those who enjoy walking and cycling, with miles of quiet roads, tracks and footpaths.
So if you are looking for an ideal base for camping or caravan site near Lincoln, Clumber Park or Sherwood forest, you are in the right place.

I grew up in the area and wanted ti take ly partner to a few of the places I grew up around. The site was very well maintained and organised. It was a little but more than we usually like to spend on a site as are quite frugal but the quality of the toilets and especially the showers more than made up for the extra couple of quid we could have saved at a different site.Although it was quite busy the site is large and the the otjer guests seemed to be respectful and polite. Will be using the site again in the near future.
What a hidden treasure Trentfield Farm is, spent 2 nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The campsite is a hidden gem although very easy to find. The owners and wardens were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were very good, with the added bonus of a mobile food wagon Fri and Sat nights.Plenty of places to walk or cycle and the nearest pub was only 10 mins walk away serving good food. Will definitely be returning.
Lovely clean facilities, plenty of room on your pitches, staff willing to help you. Will definitely come again we have stayed in both fields highly recommend this site
The site was absolutely lovely. The serviced pitches in the ma8n field are great. Water and electric so close to our campervan. Lovely flat pitches. Toilet and shower facilities were excellent. A warm welcome was had on our arrival too. My biggest and only complaint was that the gate to the site was locked at 22:30 and not opened again until 07:30. This meant that I had to cancel a hospital appointment and a doctor's appointment as I was unable to leave the site at a time where I could have made the journey back to Nottingham for my 1st appointment at 08:30. We had also been invited to a friend's home nearby to have tea and then watch the England match which did not finish until 23:00. We had to leave at half time in order to get back to the site or we would be locked out. Had we had arrived late we would have to call to get the gate opened and then be charged £15.00 as a fine. I have never been on a site that does this. At the worst they would give you a code on an electric lock.
We stayed for a birthday & had a brilliant time. The camp site was quiet (despite having plenty of campers) as it was well spaced out. We enjoyed an amazing pizza from the weekend food van, then had a lovely walk in the countryside to the local pub where there was a band playing. A peaceful night’s sleep followed & we all agreed we’d love to return again, but next time for a few nights. Thanks for a great stay!
Everything was above and beyond unfortunately the fishing wasn’t great and the showers could do to be on a longer timer but that’s minor considering the amazing place
Lovely site with modern clean facilities, a fantastic pizza van on the Sat night we were there and great quiet location by the river with lovely 10 min walk to great country pub. Lovely owners too.
