A caravan and camping site near Lincoln, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park & Sundown Adventureland. All just a short drive away from our idyllic camp site.
Camping here is an ideal base to visit the local area, Lincoln Cathedral is clearly visible from the site, and we are quite lucky the Red Arrows often practice over the farm. There are many attractions in the area, such as Sherwood Forest visitor centre, the beautiful Clumber Park, Doddington Hall and a little further away such as Nottingham & Creswell Crags.
Trentfield Farm accepts, tents, caravans, motorhome’s and VW campers. We have electrical hook up for those who require it, and 4 way pitches if you wish to camp with your friends in a group. We welcome BBQ’s but campfires & fire pits are not permitted.
The Park has flat level grass pitches, optional electrical hook ups, a modern amenity block as well as non communal family wash rooms, a recycling facility, and a large washing up area as well as a washing machine and tumble drier. We don’t have a shop on the park, but do have a vending machine for milk etc. We are also dog friendly.
Need electric for charging those gadgets? You don’t need to worry, we charge phones, ipads, laptops etc free of charge in the office.
Within a walk from the park are two pubs, the Ferry Boat Inn a 10 minute stroll down the tow path, and in the main village The Bee’s Knees, serving award winning ales. (It’s also famed for its gin library), both serving great food. We also have a nearby shop a short drive away, as well as a number of local take away’s that deliver to site.
The park is particularly attractive to those who enjoy walking and cycling, with miles of quiet roads, tracks and footpaths.
So if you are looking for an ideal base for camping or caravan site near Lincoln, Clumber Park or Sherwood forest, you are in the right place.

Excellent facilitiesVery helpful staffVery good value
Lovely site well maintained. Staff very pleasant and helpful.I would maybe have a squishy mop to dry floor after a shower.
Total novice couple in our campervan choose a local site in case it wasn't what we thought it might be....so lucky to have picked such a fantastic site...really well kept, great facilities, warm welcome and beautifully quiet.Lots of walks and cycle routes with pubs on route...our idea of perfection.
As always, a lovely stay at Trentfield. One of our favourite places for a weekend. Peaceful site, by the river Trent. The rally field is a lovely place, the sound of birdsong and the odd boat chugging up the river is the background sound to the weekend. A short walk to the local pub if you fancy it. The bill she has the Bees knees for good food and drink. What more eiuld you need? Love it.
Loved our first stay at Trent field and will definitely be back.Very clean and the staff were very friendly.Excellent local pubs with great food close by.
Quiet and clean. Very friendly staff. Near the river Trent and a lovely pub.
lovely relaxing site will be definitely coming back
Friendly staff, clean and tidy site , great location, nice pub with good food in village
Overall a good 1st stay. The pitches are well laid out (Rally field) with ehu. The showers etc were very clean, albeit a bit smaller than others we've used. The door locks need looking at though (women's showers). There is no separate area for keeping your clothes, shoes, towels dry while you shower. There are hooks & a stool but due to the closeness to the shower you run the risk of wetting stuff if you don't keep them in a bag on the hook. We booked for the closeness to family who have a static at Manor Farm down the road. It's very handy for the Ferryboat pub too (take a torch for the walk back). We had a day trip to Lincoln as well.
