Tregroes caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes with roughly 30 pitches available and communal facilities which include toilets, showers, a washing up area, charging facilities and a chemical disposal point.
Here at Tregroes Touring and Camping Site, we also offer glamping for those who fancy a more luxurious camping experience.
You can enjoy a spacious geodome or cosy Glamping pod. All are fully equipped with everything you will need.
Guests are welcome to light up the barbie after a long days sight seeing, however if you fancy a night off, the on-site restaurant offers great home made food to eat in or takeaway - Tregroes was voted one of the “ best foody” campsites in the UK by The Times.
Dogs are more than welcome here at Tregroes and are sure to love the bountiful walking opportunities that surround the campsite including the 186 mile stretch of the coastal path, where guests are advised to keep their eyes open for the dolphins, seals and seabirds which can be seen along the way. Cycling, hiking, fishing, horse riding and golfing are all available in the nearby areas too as well as a variety of water sports activities including surfing, sailing, kayaking and diving!
If you're a history fan, you've definitely come to the right place! There are an abundance of beautiful historic sites and castles in this part of Wales including the 12th century abbey in the coastal town of St Dogmaels and the Pen-Rhiw burial chambers at Goodwick. The Garn Wen burial chamber in Fishguard, the cathedral at St Davids and the stone circles of the Preseli Hills are also well worth a look!

We stayed in Y Caban for the night. What a beautiful place, lovely and relaxing grounds. Beautiful cabin, with everything you could need being there. We had an issue with the shower and it was dealt with quickly. We ate in the Pantry and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay again.
Stayed one night to de-stress catching the Ferry.Everything fine - would be happy to stay longer.Gravel pitch nicely level for the motorhome .
A very basic site with all that you could need, rough around the edges which is probably the idea but feels over priced based on this. The Abba tribute night did cause noise on the campsite until about midnight causing disturbed sleep which was not known when booking the stay nor was the event expected to cause disruption especially as you have to keep the noise down yourself from 10pm. The location is lovely, Fishguard is a lovely little town, 2km away and not far from the coastal path. Wales is a lovely untouched part of the UK and plenty to drive out to
We have stayed at Tregroes campsite before and loved it. Such a quiet site with each tent or camper having its own area for added space & privacy. Clean toilets, excellent waste & recycling facilities, friendly staff and super bar onsite. We’ll definitely be back.
Nice pitches, no welcome and didn’t see anyone in charge. Very dirty toilets for what you are paying especially the left hand toilet with the window. Looks like it hadn’t been clean for years.
When buying a house they say Location Location Location well this campsite has tthat especially of you need the Fishguard ferry. I was sailing at 1.15am and uts exactly 8min drive to the ferry terminal. The site itself is a nice site with all you need including a restaurant and bar, faculties a bit dated but clean.
Enjoyed our 2 night stay.Plenty of info regarding our check in, site info and details of local area etc (pitch and other details pinned on board)Only negative was there was no-one to greet us/check us in etc (no face to face interaction with people who run/own the site)
Highly recommend this wonderful site, family friendly and extremely accommodating. Easy to get to, safe for the children who also loved the alpacas. Great location, near to the town and local beaches. We took the children to ocean lab aquarium and cwm yr eglws. Great facilities, warm showers and spacious showers for families, look forward to returning very soon. Special mention to Colin who helped us with booking, very friendly and responsive to messages.
Absolutely spot on, pitch size outstanding, facilities absolutely beautiful and clean. Services spot on and a very warm welcome. I would recommend to anyone thinking of stopping here, do it. If we weren’t travelling wales from south to north I would have stayed a lot longer. Five stars from me all the way. Just a pity I didn’t take pictures to share. But next time I will.
touring the area we booked this last minute and was not disappointed, very nice campsite
