Tregroes caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes with roughly 30 pitches available and communal facilities which include toilets, showers, a washing up area, charging facilities and a chemical disposal point.

Here at Tregroes Touring and Camping Site, we also offer glamping for those who fancy a more luxurious camping experience.

You can enjoy a spacious geodome or cosy Glamping pod. All are fully equipped with everything you will need.

Guests are welcome to light up the barbie after a long days sight seeing, however if you fancy a night off, the on-site restaurant offers great home made food to eat in or takeaway - Tregroes was voted one of the “ best foody” campsites in the UK by The Times.

Dogs are more than welcome here at Tregroes and are sure to love the bountiful walking opportunities that surround the campsite including the 186 mile stretch of the coastal path, where guests are advised to keep their eyes open for the dolphins, seals and seabirds which can be seen along the way. Cycling, hiking, fishing, horse riding and golfing are all available in the nearby areas too as well as a variety of water sports activities including surfing, sailing, kayaking and diving!

If you're a history fan, you've definitely come to the right place! There are an abundance of beautiful historic sites and castles in this part of Wales including the 12th century abbey in the coastal town of St Dogmaels and the Pen-Rhiw burial chambers at Goodwick. The Garn Wen burial chamber in Fishguard, the cathedral at St Davids and the stone circles of the Preseli Hills are also well worth a look!

Review of 3 night stay.

John, Meirion - 16/04/2025

5

Really enjoyable 3 night stay. Very well located, 10 minute walk into Fishguard. Well kept facilities regularly cleaned. Bar/ restaurant with 10% off meals on first night was a bonus. We stayed in a campervan although there were a number of other options available e.g. geodomes, statics etc. Grounds excellently kept. Look forward to returning.

Stayed for 3 nights at the end of March ‘25. Fairly level pitch with views over to the ferry port & the hills.Excellent toilet/shower block/washing up facilities, all very clean with plenty of hot water.Great food & a good night at the Tregroes Pantry & Bar. All staff we spoke to were friendly & helpful. Our only issue was we found it impossible to connect to the WiFi

Short break

Ward, David - 27/03/2025

5

We stayed for 4 nights in our campervan and found the site clean and well presented. The food and service in the Pantry restaurant were both excellent and all the staff we spoke to were very friendly and we would recommend the Sunday lunch. The toilet and shower block was clean with plenty of hot water in the showers. We walked our dog into Goodwick and this was possible with only a short stretch by the road to the first roundabout. From there it can be done on footpaths which in places are quite steep and once at Goodwick the coast path can be joined. There is a grey waste water drain point and chemical toilet drain. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider returning.

Great campsite in easy reach of Fishguard

Campbell, Lucy - 25/03/2025

5

We stayed here for 1 night in March, as our ferry from Ireland didn't get in until 11pm and with a 5+ hour drive ahead we wanted to rest for the night and head on early the next day. The site owners were really kind in letting us check in very late and left instructions pinned to the wall for us to collect on arrival. The bathroom area was spotlessly clean and we had a peaceful night's sleep. We'll be back again!

Nice campsite

Erdmann, Maggie - 24/03/2025

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting the area. Stayed on a gravel standing pitch which was level. Had a spacious grass area to the side with a picnic table which is a nice touch. Paid £30 per night with EHU which seems to be the going rate around here. Facilities are clean and tidy. Unisex showers but all in seperate cabins and very spacious. Toilet seats in the ladies are great (you will have to see for yourself) and there is a hairdryer!!Booked online which was easy. Didn’t see the owners but you could tell staff were around as the showers/toilets and washing up area were kept spotless. All in all a nice stay.

Relaxing, peaceful and welcoming

Jones, Gemma - 12/03/2025

We stayed here for one night, in a Geodome. It was so lovely, nice touches and decoration and everything you could need. We didn't bring any food as only staying for one night, but the kitchen area had all the plates and utensils you would need. The Geodome was warm (with a heater in) and didn't lose its heat. Was so cosy and would highly recommend. We ate on site in the evening and the next day before we left. The food was lovely and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return in the future. 😊

Nice quiet sites, good location.

Smith, Ian - 08/03/2025

Quiet site, but easy walking distance to local town. Good facilities and the plots were well sized and spaced. Didnt meet any staff but had no issues during our stay. Site was clean and value for money was reasonable.

Four days in November.

Ward, Robert - 19/11/2024

4

Needing a short November break not far from home, we decided to try Tregroes caravan glamping and camping park. Unlike most camping parks in that part of the county, access from the A40 is easy (No tiny one lane roads). On arrival in our campervan we found Tregroes has a system that allows for late arrivals, in that when you arrive you find your site instructions, pitch number, wffi, etc, are pinned up in the porch for you to collect and pitch up, a good hassle free system. Wyfi strength is good and free. Toilets, although small, are spotless, and hot water is really hot, so are the showers. Although it works well, the chemical toilet disposal point could do with some work, and the water taps around the park are slow to fill. But overall, we found it a quiet site and a good base for touring, and the walk into Fishguard only takes 20 minutes along very safe paths. Have to say, the weather was good for November and we enjoyed our four night stay.
