Tregroes Caravan, Camping & Glamping Park

4.4 (85 reviews)

Tregroes Touring And Camping Site is a small, family friendly site, situated in the tranquil Pembrokeshire countryside just outside the coastal town of Fishguard and close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

Search for availability Search for availability

Tregroes caters for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes with roughly 30 pitches available and communal facilities which include toilets, showers, a washing up area, charging facilities and a chemical disposal point.

Here at Tregroes Touring and Camping Site, we also offer glamping for those who fancy a more luxurious camping experience.

You can enjoy a spacious geodome or cosy Glamping pod. All are fully equipped with everything you will need.

Guests are welcome to light up the barbie after a long days sight seeing, however if you fancy a night off, the on-site restaurant offers great home made food to eat in or takeaway - Tregroes was voted one of the “ best foody” campsites in the UK by The Times.

Dogs are more than welcome here at Tregroes and are sure to love the bountiful walking opportunities that surround the campsite including the 186 mile stretch of the coastal path, where guests are advised to keep their eyes open for the dolphins, seals and seabirds which can be seen along the way. Cycling, hiking, fishing, horse riding and golfing are all available in the nearby areas too as well as a variety of water sports activities including surfing, sailing, kayaking and diving!

If you're a history fan, you've definitely come to the right place! There are an abundance of beautiful historic sites and castles in this part of Wales including the 12th century abbey in the coastal town of St Dogmaels and the Pen-Rhiw burial chambers at Goodwick. The Garn Wen burial chamber in Fishguard, the cathedral at St Davids and the stone circles of the Preseli Hills are also well worth a look!

Very nice campsite

Van Meegen, Kai - 16/08/2026

We had a wonderful stay at Tregroes. The site is peaceful and well maintained, with spacious pitches and very clean facilities. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the onsite restaurant and bar were a real bonus. Its location is ideal for exploring Fishguard, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the beautiful nearby beaches. Excellent value for money—we would happily return and highly recommend it!

Quiet campsite in walking distance to Fishguard

Nelson, Emma - 13/08/2026

4

Check-in was very straightforward, and pitches were clearly signposted and generous. The site was small and guests were very respectful of each other. There weren't many toilets and showers, but we didn't have to wait (we showered early evening or morning). Overall, great value for money and an easy 20 minutes walk into fishguard.

Amazing

Thomas, Rebeckah - 13/08/2026

5

Absolutely lovely camping park. If it had a children's play park, it would have been 10 out of 10. We loved it. The food onsite in the restaurant was absolutely lovely and delicious. Lovely and friendly, the site was well maintained and spotless. The shower block and sink washing facilities were also spotless. Overall amazing and looking forward to returning next year.

Showers

Scholefield, Amanda - 08/08/2026

4

This was our second visit to Tregroes in the school holidays. This year was considerably busier, which highlighted the lack of showers. There are only 4 showers for the whole of the campsite, meaning there were queues in the mornings and evenings for a shower. The campsite is clean but does need some grounds maintenance, ie. bushes cutting back and a piece of barbed wire sticking out of the ground near to the dog walk. Overall it is a nice site near to many attractions.

Tregroes Camping is an excellent campsite

Taylor, Gary - 06/08/2026

5

We stayed for three nights in our motorhome, from the 19th to the 22nd July. The pitches are generous; fairly level and well looked after. High hedges around and within the site serve as effective windbreaks, and provide cover for many small birds, some of which seemed quite tame. The bar and restaurant are both good, and the staff are exceptionally pleasant and engaging, making you feel welcome and at home. The toilet block is good, although the building is slightly rustic, the facilities are good, clean, and there's plenty hot water. The showers are the most luxurious that I've ever seen at a campsite; that's a welcome feature for those who've been out on a long walk, or perhaps been down on the coast, doing some 'coasteering' or 'kayaking'.It's an easy walk down into Fishguard, with pavement of cycle track almost all of the way, except for the first 100metres on a quiet small road immediately out of the campsite gates.Highly recommended little campsite; we'll definitely return.
