Pitch great, showers nice, food and bar ideal after a long day driving

We stayed in our campervan. It wasn't our first visit. We come regularly. Check in is really simple just pick up your booking details at reception and pitch up..The staff are really friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant one evening it was delicious all our meals were served pipping hot and all fresh ingredients. And fave had Sunday Roast there a few times all homemade fresh ingredients to. It's a short 20 minute walk into Fishguard. Very good value for money.

I turned up a bit bewildered as I have not been to a site with no reception before, once I found my paperwork I went to my pitch. The pitch was in the open and in full sun, I had my dog with me and I asked if I could move to a more shady pitch they did try but nothing available.I ate in the restaurant the first night, service was slow, but the meal was lovely and the restaurant was nicely decorated.I went to have a look at the shower block, a woman came out of one with her dog which she had just showered in there not good if anyone has allergies.The site was easy to find and a 25 minute walk to Goodwick and Fishguard.Overall a nice site clean toilets and showers. Shame people couldn't be bothered to clean water from shower floor after use.Would stay again.

Very handy for the Fishguard ferry. Great bar and restaurant.

We stayed 1 night with our motorhome, everything was clean and quiet. Kitchen and the pub is really good as well. Will come back for sure.Thank you

Although grass is adequately cut whole site and facilities could do with some TLC, e.g individual picnic tables are dirty, old, broken not really fit for using.Showers definitely need updating, need to be checked on by staff on a more regular basis, people not cleaning after use and leaving their empty shower containers, tissues on floor, site was quite during our stay but would imagine in busy times this would be worse? Lack of flowers, site could do with some colour, flower buckets. Outside bar seating area looks untidy and unkempt, could do to be tidied up and landscaping not very inviting.Last concerns are the fire pits not managed by staff or users, two nights running glampers and young couple who had fire pits near us due to smoke blowing our way and smell both ourselves and neighbours had to go into our vehicles and close windows. Due to extreme hot weather conditions, especially with no rain and dry grass fire pits shouldn't be used.

We stayed in Y Caban for the night. What a beautiful place, lovely and relaxing grounds. Beautiful cabin, with everything you could need being there. We had an issue with the shower and it was dealt with quickly. We ate in the Pantry and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay again.
