Timber Hill is a place which is far removed from the troubles of everyday life, so restful. The boys loved being able to surf and body board, Whitesands is a a beautiful beach and the surf was perfect. Finlay enjoyed making friends with the bugs at The Bug Farm, such an interesting day out , it's quite unique. We were enchanted with the Jackie Morris exhibition at Oriel Y parc.Thank you for your help and kindness,Kindest regards and best wishes,Sheena, Becki, Oscar, Finlay and Mouse
Have been to Timber Hill several times now and never fail to be impressed with all the facilities and the beauty of the area wouldn’t hesitate to recommend can’t wait to come back kerry howells
Located in an absolutely beautiful setting, and received a nice welcome. Could do with a bit of a makeover in the bathroom, as mould on grouting, and radiator a little worn looking grubby. Rest was ok for somewhere that allows dogs. Basic but good value for money. We would definitely consider returning.
We had gone to Pembrokeshire to walk the cost paths and Timber Hill was well located for that. The accommodation was suitable although the bedrooms were rather cramped. The accommodation was clean but, although bed linen was provided, towels had not been. This was quickly and easily rectified by helpful stuff. Reception on the main TV was patchy but no programmes could be found on that in the main bedroom. The kitchen was well provided and all the equipment functioned properly. Some things were a little 'tired' for example the flooring in bathroom and kitchen and the bath.
Lovely location. Easy reach of lots of beaches. Accommodation a little tired but assuming that’s because it’s the end of the season. Would definitely go again.
Broadhaven & all surrounding areas beautiful
The only issue we had with the accommodation was that it was very ease to find on site and the access to the lodge from the car park due to the lack of lighting on the path. This was a very little issue with a very enjoyable weekend.
The lodge was very clean and tidy. Very user friendly and had all the amenities we could require. Would definitely recommend this place to others. It was also a wonderful place for our dogs too. The only criticisms I would give was that one of the lightbulbs in my bedroom didn't work and the head of my bed was right next to an outside gutter so when it rained at night it was a little loud. Also I paid for linens and assumed there may be some bathroom hand towels but there weren't. But overall a fantastic place to stay.
Pros:Peaceful siteClose to beautiful local areasLodge communal area was comfortable, light and airyCons:Lounge window hinge had dropped and had a large gap present which let in a lot of wind. We used a towel to block it. Reported it on our first day and no one came to look at it or fix it.Bath was partially blocked and we had to unblock it ourselves
It's a great comfortable space for us and the dog loves it too. Perfect if you like peace, quiet and access to the outdoors.
