A well lain out and maintained site. Each pitch has a picnic table but they are positioned on what might be considered the wrong side. I reversed onto my pitch (as most people do) and the pitch table is on the offside of the van! Very much an equestrian centre and site is dog friendly. Unfortunately the hotel and restaurant is not at all dog friendly in any way. No dogs allowed inside anywhere! If you want a drink with your dog you need to walk to the village, about 20 mins away.

This a is a great motorhome site on the grounds of the equestrian centre. The countryside setting and views are lovely. There is a restaurant where we were able to get a takeaway. We had our dog with us so couldn’t sit in for our meal. The toilet/shower block is immaculate and luxurious. It is regularly cleaned and there is also a laundry room. We chatted to John, who takes care of the grounds at the motorhome site. He was really friendly and welcoming & having him living on the site meant he was there if we had any questions. The only downside for this site is there isn’t much in the way of dog walks. It is in the countryside so I am sure if we had more time and had ventured along the country roads we may have found local trails. They have recently put in a small dog park for dogs to play off lead but it is quite small. With so much grazing land, it would be great if they could add some trails along the side of the fields. We look forward to returning.

Our very first stay at the touring park at The Paddocks and when we arrived all my husband and I could say was Wow!! The entrance into the grounds and the hotel frontage was just amazing! The stables were just impeccable. Upon our arrival at the touring park we were greeted warmly and informatively by John. Fabulous facilities!! We ventured into Palaminos on our first night for drinks in the bar. The hotel reception area was decorated for Christmas that made it feel like Santas grotto! The restaurant was busy but we were made to feel very welcome for drinks so much so we opted to stay for food as well which was nothing short of amazing and rather large portions too!! Our second night dinner in the restaurant was equally fabulous with great food and even the staff going out of their way to sing happy birthday to my husband with a sparkler with his dessert. John was there for our departure and wished us well for the rest of our holiday. We can’t wait to come back again!! Fantastic place!

What a lovely site, services, restaurant and excellent staff. The place was spotless, the restaurant and bar had such a variety and every interaction with any of the staff was fabulous. All very helpful, chatty and done with a smile. Would definitely recommend and will be back!
