The site is very well maintained and the facilities are lovely and clean, The pitches are well spaced out and each one has a picnic table.The site is only a 3min drive to the village with shops takeaway and a pub.The highlight of our stay as always is the restaurant on site, Palaminos, it is a fabulous place to have a meal, the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly and attentive.One young lady deserves a special mention, her name is Kai, her customer service is amazing and so are the other lovely staff to be fair we are always guaranteed a great time.

We spent this summer at this lovely campsite, part of a stunning horse estate, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous — the estate itself is breathtaking, with a real sense of space and natural beauty all around.Our pitch was perfect: a generous adjoining patch of grass and a picnic bench, giving us plenty of room to relax and enjoy the setting. The facilities were spotless, and everything you could possibly need was right there.A special mention goes to John, who went above and beyond helping us with an issue we had with our suitcases — truly top-notch service and hospitality. We also had to reschedule one of our bookings due to a family matter, and the process was handled smoothly and without any hassle whatsoever.All in all, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-run place to stay with fantastic staff. We'll definitely be back!

Very clean and tidy site at a fair price.

We stopped for one night and a great spot.

Repeat visit to the paddocks, as before location, restaurant, bar etc. absolutely perfect. Toilet block was closed til 10 for cleaning, got in about 10.10, showers were disgusting. Hair all over the floor, swimming in water and the grout on the tiles truly disgusting. Such a shame on an otherwise perfect stay!

We were very unimpressed that the price increased from that quoted on the website to £50 per night when the Summer dates were released as the time we stayed clashed with the Commonwealth Games. By this point, there was nowhere else to book close to Glasgow. On top of this high price, electricity was additional! There is only one sink for washing up which is ridiculous for the number of pitches there. Also, the toilets and showers were closed for cleaning at 9.15 in the morning which is a crazy time to do this. The men's toilets only have 2 cubicles in addition to the urinals. Whilst the site is very well-kept and clean, and the staff friendly, it was, in our opinion, hugely over-priced and, quite frankly, a rip-off. You don't even pay these sort of prices for a CAMC club site. It appeared they were taking advantage of the Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow and this site being one of the closest to it.

Stayed at the Paddocks multiple times never had any issues, its a quiet very clean and tidy site, facilities modern and staff professional and helpful.

Lovely site. But had small crowded toilet building and only one pot washing sink . plus having to pay extra for electric.

We asked for two adjacent motorhome pitches, as we were on holiday with friends in their own motorhome, the receptionist said she had allocated the pitches and despite their being plenty of available pitches next to ourselves and our friends our request was not accommodated! The tiles in the shower cubicles (ladies) need to be cleaned thoroughly with a black mould cleaner ! For the price we expected better service and standards and have experienced much better at other venues than we found at yours
