I was delighted with the overall site immaculate can’t fault it in anyway. Service of delivery to van with our dinner was great. Just one of the observation was the showers I’m not prudish but if the showers were busy you are open to everyone getting undressed. Think a shower curtain over the wooden portion could be an option other than that excellent.
We had a beautiful stay in our Motorhome at The Paddocks. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant was fab both nights (despite some things not on menu) and loved the singer on Saturday night. Facilities were excellent and very clean. A beautiful place and can’t wait to return. Thank you.
We stayed for the first time last week and despite the terrible weather we throughly enjoyed our Campervan stay The toilet and facilities were immaculate, well lit and felt safe also the proximity to pitches was perfect The pitches were immaculate, well maintained and fit for purpose despite torrential rain the pitches were not flooded / muddy messes The food in the restaurant was delicious, Hugh quality for reasonable price and great to see such choice on the children’s menu - We had dinner and brunch and managed a few of the huge cakes!Staff were professional yet friendly, accommodating and welcoming - cannot fault any aspect of the customer experience We have already booked again as location Is perfect and we can’t wait to visit in better weather to enjoy the beautiful grounds and play park! Well done and thank you The Mitchells x
Beautiful new build. Very spacious pitches. Wonderfully laid out. Still in the process of finishing bits off therefore when we visited it was slightly dirty/muddy in the entrance to the loo’s etc. if we’re up that way will definitely stay again.
Touring Scotland in winter is challenging at the best of times so it was so nice to find a beautiful, quiet clean camp ground to stay for a couple of nights. Having a great italian restaurant on site was a definite bonus and also being able to see people riding their horses in the arena.
My husband and I spent 1 night at this immaculate site in our Campervan . There was only 1 other motorhome there due to the time of year and weather !! I can imagine in Peak season this site will be buzzing , we will definitely be back to find out for ourselves !! The Pitches are very generous with a large grassy area for sitting out and well spaced between each pitch. Toilet block and showers immaculate , although can imagine will be very busy when site full as only 3 showers !!In between the torrential down pours we managed a walk around the estate to visit the horses and the restaurant and Bar area.Would definitely recommend this site to others .
A very well layer out site with plenty of room on each pitch, shower and toilet block were very clean and warm, the shower water was hot but the water in the sinks were both cold? There was only one water supply on site, although each pitch had its own supply, but wasn't connected up yet.... the restaurant is well worth a vist, nice food and friendly staff..
The site is easily one of the best sites I’ve been on, staff are all friendly and helpful especially at the front desks. Unlike some other sites any maintenance issues were quickly sorted by Jamie who comes across as switched on!Place is kept exceptionally clean with cleaners coming and going from shower blocks, the shower blocks are new and like the rest of the site finished to a high standard. There is a nice on-site restaurant with an extensive menu, I’m vegan so will likely try something from the menu when I next return. This will be my 3rd time here and it has always been quiet, that is with the site 2/3rds full over the New Year period. Thankfully they don’t allow random fires on pitches so you don’t need to worry about any neighbouring van smoking you out.
We were very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the estate. The Hotel was lovely with decorations, &meal & entertainment was first class, with the service really good. Our motorhome pitch was great, with the hard standing &toilet &shower a first class standard. I would recommend it to friends who may want to go someplace to stay. Very pleased with our stay, &would visit again at some point during the year. Thank you for your warm welcome.
Site is very impressive, bays are large with grassed area at the side for use and all have full service hook up, unfortunately while we were there the water connection set up at each hook up point was not working, but this is being sorted. The facilities are clean and looked after daily. The staff we met were all friendly and it was great to see the horses in the stables and paddocks, if you love horses then you will love this site as it is in Ingliston Country Club. Lovely place to walk around. They are dog friendly but dogs must be kept on a lead, there is no exercise area on site to let them of the lead, this would be good to have. Grey waste area easy to access, back waste was a bit different as you have to lift a man hole lid to pour waster away, not the usual room or box housed unit, water was accessible to rinse the unit but it was also being used for fresh water due to no water available at the hook up point. We will definitely be returning this year as we had a great 4 days.
