Lovely site, great quiet weekend, great staff only issue was water pressure in showers but speaking with the warden who informed us there is work getting done to improve this,

Fabulous site. Very pretty at Christmas time. Only 4 stars as the showers were absolutely freezing! The shower block is lovely as are the pitches but it’s just the showers let it down. We also had breakfast at the restaurant and attended the kids Christmas Caberet which were amazing!

Bad points .Not the most level pitches so you will need ramps.Wifi doesnt work.. when asked at reception was told can be tempremental. Had issues with light sensors in toilets not working so trying to shower in dark not easy.. they were fixed but perhaps there should be an override switch available. Good points facilities were all really clean and fresh which was great. We unfortunately didnt have chance to eat so cant comment on that. Christmas decorations all around estate were amazing.

The Paddocks were nice, great location which allowed us to leave our caravan at the site and go into Glasgow for the day. We ended up extending our stay one extra night and the staff were more than accommodating. The bathroom/shower facilities were okay. Could use some maintenance, one of the showers would alternate between extremely cold and extremely hot making it difficult to shower.

We have stayed at The Paddocks several times and each time has been ideal. Easy to book, good communication to receive pitch and site information. Relaxing and friendly. Great food at The Palomino.

We stopped here for 1 night and found the site to be well laid out, very clean and tidy with good facilities. Dogs are welcome on the site but not in the bar which for the calibre of hotel etc I accept. There is outdoor seating in summer so you’d still presumably be able to enjoy the bar facilities of an evening. Overall a very nice place to stay.

After arriving in horrendous rain stunning place for a campsite. On way to pitch beautiful Christmas decorations. Sent email to say where Pitch would be and easy to find . Very Impressed by pitch size and level which is a bonus.Facilities all enclosed ( even chemical toilet) well kept and very clean. Good base to visit other areas. After setting up we went for a walk around , past stables which we didn't realise were there , reception had beautiful Christmas theme. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful. On going into restaurant we were made to feel welcome( even though we were all wet through) staff took coats to hang up to dry and we were seated by window. Menu excellent food amazing & cocktails a bonus. We then realised that through window we could see an arena with horses being trained & exercised. what a bonus & daughter was able to go & see them. Downside was " discretionary charge" which we disagreed with but was removed with no issues.Will certainly visit again

Really nice location and surroundings. Everything you need onsite but only a 20min walk to the town with plenty shops. Wish we'd noticed the path earlier which is hidden from the main road. Will be back

Had a nice weekend in Motorhome. Park is lovely. Very quiet site with excellent amenities. Was very festive with the Christmas decorations especially at night once they were lite up. Had a meal in palimino’s. Great food and staff were very attentive.

We stumbled on this gem and found it be wonderful. The entire facility was clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and easily able to answer our questions. We spent two nights here and had dinner at the adjacent restaurant as well which was also very good.
