The Paddock at Rutland water is an adult only touring caravan and motorhome retreat for the discerning traveller. Set in 4 acres, with 15 generous grass pitches you can be assured of a relaxing and peaceful stay.
Walking and cycling around the reservoir is a wonderful way to pass some time whilst taking in the views and spotting rare wildlife.
There are many local amenities and with the villages of Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford a short drive from the site you have everything you need for a memorable visit.
Visit local attractions and eateries, including the award winning quintessential Fox country pub, located only 3 miles away in the quaint village of North Luffenham, booking advisable.
Rutland is the smallest county in the UK and with the appropriate motto Multum-in-Parvo (Much in little) there is something for everyone.
It is because of these reasons we are normally booked up well in advance therefore to ensure you are not disappointed, book your next stay with us today.
As we do not have toilets or shower facilities on site, guest’s need to be self sufficient in this regard. We do however provide chemical toilet emptying facilities, recycling provision, mains water and electric hook up points (optional).

Delightful adults only location ideal for outdoor lovers and bird watchers
Lovely Adults only dog friendly site. Spacious hookup pitch. Lovely walks. Short drive to The Fox and Wheatsheaf pubs, good food.
Lovely spacious site. Easy access and position to access Rutland Water foot/cycle path.Recommend Horse and Jockey pub, right on cyclepath in Manton. Village shop in Edith Weston stocks most things.
This site is perfect nothing needs to be added at all
This is an excellent adult only site from which to explore Rutland. Only spoilt by a few people not controlling barking dogs and the odd one thinking 5 mph is more like 50mph. Already booked our next visit for August.
Lovely campsite and so peaceful and well maintained and totally perfect for wildlife , the only downside is no showers but we have all our own facilities so didn’t bother us but maybe if your in a smaller camper it might but overall we really enjoyed it
A great find this siteVery well maintained Spacious pitchers No toilet or showers but I'm good with thatSite owner couldn't have done enough for, what a great bloke.
We go every year some time 2 or even timesWe love it here it is so quiet and peaceful over looking the lake. The area is like stepping back in time, beautiful thatched cottages and Oakham itself a quaint little market town. The owners are so warm and friendly ( we love them) they will do anything to help. Jason also owns a pub the Fox that does excellent food already booked for next year
Great situation for cycling walking and nature. Large spacious pitches with only basic facilities ie water, waste and electric.
We are frequent visitors to the Paddock, have always found the site clean& tidy, very well presented, add to the excellent host(s) especially Brian, one could not wish for more. One of the most accommodating sites. Long may we be welcome there, total credit to the owners.
