Lovely small site , well kept. Owner friendly. Will definitely be back

We have camped at the Paddock several times and each visit prompts us to visit again.

Beautifully kept site, extremely large pitches, great location for lots of different activities - walking, picturesque villages, historic houses. Highly recommend a visit to Rutlsnd museum in Oakham.

Great small site, own sanitation required. Good access and good location for the Oakham and Rutland Water areas.Always a warm welcome and The Fox is good for food and beer.

Fixed price of elecs a bit high suggest Metered electrics.

Reason for my poor review is that firstly I didn’t go as my van was in for repair. I tried to rebook for the next season as they shut at the end of October. I was told that I couldn’t book for next year even though I had paid in full which I thought was very unfair and therefore I lost all the money.

Easy booking and good information about location. Provided with the pitch number so able to set up immediately, no matter time of arrival. Large plots with big spaces between pitches. Water, waste, elsen,EHU, recycling, dog poo bin. Information cabin. There is a lovely viewing platform so you can look out over the reservoir. Near to Nature Reserve and path anticlockwise around Rutland Water.Nearest pub 1.5 miles away. Fox Inn fabulous, 3 miles away.

I go with the wife and dog, we love this adult only site with well spaced out pitches and just the basic electric and water supply. We return every year several times and look forward to it.

Immaculate site with large pitches. Great dog walking from the site and lots to explore in the surrounding area. We will definitely return. Very helpful and informative owner.
