A lovely atmosphere and great pitch locations. Lots for children to enjoy. Staff very friendly and helpful. The cafe gets very busy with very long queues and only one till. Would be great if "grab and go" items such as sandwiches, crisps, cold drinks could be available in the shop or somewhere to help ease the congestion. The showers were ok, but only 4 for the entire site so gets busy. Overall a lovely, family friendly site.
We really enjoyed the dinosaur themed activities, chocolate dinosaur making and glitter tatoos a highlight. We had a lovely friendly welcome as always and had a great weekend. The bin in the ladies camping loo is looking a bit past it’s best and might need changing and we missed the gin and beer shop but otherwise a lovely trip as always.
Was all clean
We had a great time, just a shame that a lot of the artisan shops were closed, but my granddaughter had a brilliant time. The one thing we found not very well positioned was which side of the number post we were to put our caravan, it would make it easier if there was an arrow on the number post pointing which way to park.
Lovely place. Great for kids and great just for adults to get away. Plenty of spaces to pitch up with or without electric.Toilets and showers clean. Farm area and play area was lovely too.Staff weee great also.
Great site with excellent recreational facilities if you pay the admission fee. Toilets and showers well kept and clean. Only given 4* rating as the trek to the toilet and shower block became an issue with small children needing lots of toilet visits in the pouring rain and early evening. Loved our plot number 27 and the fact that we could have non electric tents camped on the top triangle with us. Would book that plot again as plots closer to the facilities tended to be noisier.
as above
I went with my 3 children and a friend with her two children. Ages between 1 and 9. I loved that it wasn't massive and everything was quite closed by. My 6 year old loved the freedom of being able to go to the toilet with her friend instead of us and to the playground whenever she wanted (we could see them from our tent). We loved it even though it rained on the first day. Staff in reception were kind and didn't have a problem moving us to the field next to the playground. I have to say that staff in the cafe didn't seem as kind... maybe they were having a bad day, we all do at times, nothing badly wrong, just the way were spoken to seemed a bit rude, that's all. Were were also very impressed with the farm, everything was very well looked after and it was beautiful. I loved that the flooring on the toddler area drained the water really well so we could walk barefoot, since our shoes were soaked from the day before. Lots for toddlers and all ages, not just the usual swing and slide!
Came up for weekend to see family in Peterborough. Was 15 minutes from the city so ideal location for me. The site was friendly easy check in. David the site warden showed me how to park my Campa so I made the most of my pitch. Grass recently cut. Within distance to toilets and showers which were immaculate and cleaned regularly. Cafe was nice good service. Sadly did not have time to visit the farm so cannot comment but the playbarn was in constant use with loads of happy children. As a lone traveller I felt safe.I would return again in a heartbeat.Had a wonderful stay.
