Our family site offers a handful of pitches, all located close to our Brampton Valley Way access point. They have their own dedicated toilets and shower room, and are completely fully serviced. The pitch is hard standing, gravel topped to allow for awning pegs to pass through and each pitch is adequate enough to accomodate a large van, awning and vehicle on the hard pitch alone. At the end of the site, there is a turning circle and a chemical disposal point with refuse facilities and fresh water.

Our Wellington View site is located overlooking the wonderful countryside, and more immediately our Wellington Fishing Lake. Newly completed mid 2013, there are 24 equally spaced and sized pitches available for rental for the entire year. Set out in thre rows of eight pitches, we have some set close to the toilets and shower blocks for our less abled guests, and some that are a bit more private away from the main entrace road.

Each pitch is hard standing, with gravel planings on the surface to allow for awning pegs, although this surface is a lot harder underneath to allow for a solid base, while the surface settles. They are fully serviced with electric hook-up, water and drainage, with a grass fire gap between each pitch.

  • These pitches are fully serviced with electric hookup, water, and integrated drainage, and are nestled in close to our log cabins on Waterloo Lake.

We have three pitches on this 2016 addition to the site, available for hire throughout the year. These pitches are fully serviced with electric hookup, water, and integrated drainage, and are nestled in close to our log cabins on Waterloo Lake. Boasting a fantastic vista, peace and tranquility await!

These pitches are designed with motorhomes in mind, and are slightly narrower than our standard Adult Only pitches elsewhere on site. However, if you did want to book this pitch for your caravan you can do this by contacting us directly. Fishing is not included in this pitch price as it is adjacent to our Waterloo Lake for pleasure anglers and match bookings, so remains subject to availability, as matches will take precedent.

Toilet and shower facilities are located nearby, as is the ELSAN point.

We came for a couple of nights mainly for the fishing. Which was excellent. . A cycle route runs through the site great for dog walking etc. Tea room was great. Washrooms very basic but clean.

Lovely setting and location. Plenty of walks close by and a bun down the road which allows dogs in the bar.

We stayed in kingfisher cabin which was lovely, even though there has been updated, we found the seating uncomfortable.

Quiet jewel of Leicestershire

We've stayed at Waterloo Farm three times now and will return. We enjoy being able to sit outside our caravan and just watch and listen to the wildlife in the area and using the lake. Lovely site, but beware the hard standing pitches for putting pegs in - it is what it says on the tin, HARD!.. Otherwise, good and quiet, with easy access to Market Harborough either by car or on foor using the disused but popular railway line, it is ideal for a relaxing weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at Waterloo farm. The toilets/wash rooms were clean and warm. Our only negative observation was that there was no kitchen/washing up room.

Another amazing visit.

Turner, Alan - 30/04/2022

A peaceful relaxing stay at waterloo farm. Good fishing is a bonus. Drive on/ off pitches make the break easy from the start. Just connect electric and water and let the holiday begin. A short walk upto the cafe for a chilled beer and a delicious slice of homemade cake or a full meal. The lasagne was amazing. Collect milk and other provisions from the little shop and back to the fishing. We visited Peterborough show ground for the motor home show, Newark antique fair and a visit to Market Harborough is a must. Can’t wait to visit again.

How things change

Calvert, Raymond - 27/04/2022

With friends we have visited Waterloo since they opened, watched it go downhill over the years. Mainly by some of the ill mannered ,rude staff. Rediculous rules. If they keep up this trend they will loose more than the £800 per week + from us 4 caravanners that normally go together. Come back James and sort this lot out before it's too late. Carp virus was the last straw.

We had a wonderful stay recently. Loved the tranquility of the site. Loved the walk back from Market Harborough and look forward to exploring that walk more. Fab little shop and superb cafe. Excellent service on arrival offering us a pitch on the adult only area as i had booked a family pitch by accident. Much appreciated. I look forward to returning
