They have their own dedicated toilets and shower room, and are completely fully serviced. The pitch is hard standing, gravel topped to allow for awning pegs to pass through and each pitch is adequate enough to accomodate a large van, awning and vehicle on the hard pitch alone. At the end of the site, there is a turning circle and a chemical disposal point with refuse facilities and fresh water.

Our Wellington View site is located overlooking the wonderful countryside, and more immediately our Wellington Fishing Lake. Completed mid 2013, there are 24 equally spaced and sized pitches available for rental for the entire year. Set out in three rows of eight pitches, we have some set close to the toilets and shower blocks for our less abled guests, and some that are a bit more private away from the main entrance road.

Each pitch is hard standing, with gravel planings on the surface to allow for awning pegs, although this surface is a lot harder underneath to allow for a solid base, while the surface settles. They are fully serviced with electric hook-up, water and drainage, with a grass fire gap between each pitch. We recommend storm pegs and a hammer for your awning.

An enjoyable stay 😎

A very enjoyable stay at a top class site, with excellent friendly staff. Very large pitches on the lake, with excellent fishing and large open space to walk our elderly dog. Facilities very clean and the tearoom is definitely well worth a visit - especially for a takeaway Sunday lunch. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Our little Haven

Steers, Steve - 02/07/2026

We have been staying at Waterloo farm leisure for a number of years now, and have visited in a motorhome, lodges and more recently in our touring caravan. It’s ideally situated, with plenty of things to do in the local area. Pitches are of good size and I think are most fully serviced. The site is kept clean and well maintained, the staff are all friendly and attentive. As a fisherman, it really helps take the stresses of the week away. Two well stocked lakes, and a junior that are well looked after and provide plenty of sport. The fishery has usual rules/regs and you can understand why, all fish I have caught thus far have been in excellent condition. All facilities, showers, toilets, washing up areas are always well looked after. We look forward to going every time we can. The cafe and Sunday Lunches in particular are well attended, so make sure you book up to avoid disappointment. Thanks again to the team for making it our little restful haven!

26-28th June 2026 Waterloo Farm Leisure, Market Harborough Nestled in the countryside just over a mile from Market Harborough is The Waterloo Farm Leisue campsite and fishing lakes. This friendly, peaceful site is privately owned and run by a friendly team. There's a great dog walking field separate from the fishing lakes and pitches. The pitches are big and are well spaced. We had a fully serviced pitch which was ideal as there are no washing up facilities. The facilities are described in feedback as basic, whatever that means. The facilties where we were pitched consisted of 2 male and 2 female shower rooms each containing a toilet and sink as well as a shower. Plenty of hot water too and it was lovely and clean. The walk into Market Harborough takes about 40 minutes. It is mostly away from roads. We took the path that took us across a wheat field. The licensed cafe on site does a great cooked breakfast as well as love cakes and pastries. Just right with a col

Pleasant stay

Parker, David - 28/06/2026

Our first impressions were that it appeared a bit wild not helped by our pitch being covered with goose droppings which we had to clear up before pitching. However once settled in we both enjoyed the natural surroundings. The staff were very helpful and polite, cannot praise them high enough. We had Sunday lunch on site which was very tasty and a generous portion. All in all, I would say that the first impression was misleading and would recommend the site

We regularly stay at Waterloo Farm, its local to us and we stay for the proximity to Market Harborough which is a nice 35 min stroll along the old railway line which adjoins the site. Not going for the fishing we stay on one of the three front pitches by the lodges but can certainly appreciate the pitches around the other lake with own fishing pegs. Lovely cafe provides good basic food and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Facilities are basic but clean and adequate. Slight concern are the increasing unsightly large outfits that are obviously long stay, does somewhat spoil the ambiance. Phil in Northampton
