The Paddock at Rutland water is an adult only touring caravan and motorhome retreat for the discerning traveller. Set in 4 acres, with 15 generous grass pitches you can be assured of a relaxing and peaceful stay.
Walking and cycling around the reservoir is a wonderful way to pass some time whilst taking in the views and spotting rare wildlife.
There are many local amenities and with the villages of Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford a short drive from the site you have everything you need for a memorable visit.
Visit local attractions and eateries, including the award winning quintessential Fox country pub, located only 3 miles away in the quaint village of North Luffenham, booking advisable.
Rutland is the smallest county in the UK and with the appropriate motto Multum-in-Parvo (Much in little) there is something for everyone.
It is because of these reasons we are normally booked up well in advance therefore to ensure you are not disappointed, book your next stay with us today.
As we do not have toilets or shower facilities on site, guest’s need to be self sufficient in this regard. We do however provide chemical toilet emptying facilities, recycling provision, mains water and electric hook up points (optional).

Very peaceful campsite which is clean and tidy. Plenty of space between the pitches. The site is in a good location close to Rutland Water Reservoir.
Fantastic spot overlooking Empingham Reservoir from every pitch. There is a viewing platform too. Well kept site with good pitches, some with EHU, allocated on booking, although you can request at time of booking.Plenty of water taps. Black waste disposal and recycling available. The owner pops round to meet you, delightful chap who clearly puts the effort in to make the site welcoming and provide advice. We primarily visited for a weekend after the NEC show and to cycle round Empingham Reservoir, something not done since the construction days back in the '70s as used to live nearby and cycle up after school.Lovely cafe on the far side. Don't miss going into Normanton Church. Lovely pub at top of the hill climb, Horse & Jockey for a well earned pint and meal, but it stops food at 3pm, so time it right. We will visit again, its a stunning place to spend time.
Well maintained site. Our preferred type of site
Lovely small site , well kept. Owner friendly. Will definitely be back
We have camped at the Paddock several times and each visit prompts us to visit again.
Beautifully kept site, extremely large pitches, great location for lots of different activities - walking, picturesque villages, historic houses. Highly recommend a visit to Rutlsnd museum in Oakham.

Fixed price of elecs a bit high suggest Metered electrics.
