Great site, very quiet and good sized pitches, seems hard standings are being developed. Great walks towards Normanton

The site is in a beautiful setting with easy walking distance to Rutland water. It is very quiet and the pitches are set well apart offering privacy. The site is well maintained with a ‘viewing platform’ that gives spectacular views over Rutland water and surrounding area. Sadly we did not get a chance to explore the area and its many foodie outlets. We will have to revisit to do this.

Lovely peaceful place

This is a great site for access to Rutland Water and it has a lovely atmosphere. Jason, one of the owners makes a point of visiting every arrival and discussing the site and the area and he is always available by phone if needed. The site is extremely spacious and very well laid out and cared for. Being adult only and requiring everyone to have and use their own on board facilities means that the type of visitor is very well behaved and caring. There is a big garden centre next door with a lovely cafe if you want someone else to do the cooking.

We love it here . The paddock is immaculately kept by friendly and welcoming owner Jason and Dad Brian, and is our go to place for peace and tranquility,The site and is only a short walking distance to Rutland water and an ideal base for superb countryside walks. We would also recommend the Fox in North Luffenham for great food

Well laid out clean site. Owner, very courteous and pleasant, made a point of welcoming us and explained all facilities, local attractions and pubs etc

We really enjoyed our few nights at The Paddock, lots of space to spread out! Some pitches are grass and some aren't so probably be nice to know at time of booking so you can choose?We will be back :)

A quiet and beautiful campsite. Well positioned for nice walks and cycles around Rutland Water. Close to the RSPB centre which is good for osprey viewing.This site is for adults only and ideal for a peaceful break. The owner makes every effort to keep the site clean and tidy. He makes a special effort to welcome you and make you enjoy your stay. A truly great retreat.

What a lovely site, quiet, relaxing, well maintained in the perfect location, had the perfect holiday will definitely return
