Solo 4 night stay whilst wife abroad! Perfect for cycling and paddle-boarding. Really peaceful site with tremendous views. There was a wedding at the house whilst I was there and I didn’t really notice noise.

Peaceful

Gateley, Paul - 01/08/2022

We were only able to stop for 1 night but really enjoyed the peaceful location in our motor home. Easy to get to kimmeridge bay and coastal path. Our area of site ( main field) is very sloping so a challenge for all. Why dont you develop more level pitches? Remote for pub or shops so come prepared.

Good location and views

Gardner, Robert - 31/07/2022

The area that needs addressing is the positioning of outfits . There are no guidelines by staff or information boards as to how one should position their outfits on their pitch. My pitch was a hard standing but the grassed area both side of me were occupied by my neighbours. Pitches need to be pegged out and explained verbally and by notification. No one likes confrontation in these situations. Please sort it out.

First impressions more sloping than expected.

Owen, Robert - 29/07/2022

The setting is lovely, very peaceful with stunning views from the right pitches. The downsides, the general service areas could do with better housekeeping. Whilst the chemical toilet waste point is covered a previously replaced fence panel is abandoned next to the new and the concrete access ramp to the bottom service point has a large trench eroded between the ramp and the adjoining field. It must be said that the 4 or so miles of road from Corfe are not for the feint hearted and don't expect a swift departure on these narrow roads.
