Where does this road go?

Laureys, Gerry - 26/06/2025

The road there is narrow for a camper. But once there the tension of driving there fell away from us. A vert beautiful location. With various possibilties. In 45 minutes walk you are at Cammeridge bey where you can swim and snorkel, the coastal path passes there for beauriful walks. We stayed there 3 nigts and were not bored. Recommended

Thew, Nicola - 26/06/2025

Glyn the warden is always friendly and helpful. Good clean basic facilities CDP, waste water etc. Great to give a drive over waste fior motorhomes. Definitely need ramps as site is quite sloppy especially the grass pitches. Kimmeridge Bay great for swimming and a 40 minute walk across the fields. Lots of great walks in all directions Corfe, Kingston snd along the coast east or west. The Scott Arms in Kingston do lovely food although beer on tap selection is a bit limited.

Smedmore camp site

Dobbins, Ann - 24/06/2025

There are some lovely walks in and around the site although the week I stayed was extremely hot! I stayed on site and did not explore the surrounding area other than on foot but it was lovely to see so many hares, deer and birds in the vicinity - one robin cheekily popped into the awning and stole some dog food!!

Great site

Boocock, Peter - 24/06/2025

What a lovely site in a great setting in the grounds of Smedmore House. It's pity that it does not have a shower and toilet block so you need your own services. It does have 240v EHU, Water Points, Grey and Black waste disposal areas. Enjoyed my 2 night stay and its only a very short drive to Kimmeridge Bay / you could walk or ride an Ebike as I did.
