My husband and I love this site. Very clean and well maintained. Great walks and easy to set up. Close to shopping.

We’ve stayed at 6 Mile Water numerous times and it’s always been a pleasant experience. The pitches are well laid out and sheltered from the wind and the public pathway. Wash room and sluice facilities are clean and well maintained. The biggest win is the location and the surrounding places to enjoy some quality time either walking the castle grounds or visiting Antrim centre for a spot of shopping or lunch. We will be back, this site has never disappointed!!

Nice quiet and secure site.

When I rang first time I got a machine and was told I’d be contacted…. Not great service!Fortunately when I rang second time I spoke to an excellent staff member who was very efficient and arranged stay I required !

Having stayed there before and beginning unable to use the disabled facilities due to it needing to replace the yale lock with the recognised radar key..I was really pleased to see the lock changed to the radar key.However my pleasure at having excess was short lived as the interior light didn't work as there was no natural light this made the toilets/showers unusable. Late in the season no one is available weekends to rectify the situation..

Great location for access to the castle grounds, the Boathouse restaurant, and Antrim town. Facilities are clean.

Great site to stay on, we had a lovely time the weather was a bonus.

Only issue is electric and wster on wrong side of van for putting up a awning

Central location..good walks..and a quiet relaxing break

The Sixmile Water campsite is a council-run site on the shores of Lough Neagh, on the outskirts of Antrim town. The site has hard standing pitches, each with EHU, water, and drain. There is a facilities block with toilets/showers/wash basins, and unusually this is heated, which was a pleasant experience. Hot water is provided at peak times. The site has barrier entry with a secure code supplied with booking, and is very well maintained. The cost for the night for Motorhome and 2 people was £27, inc EHU and free showers. All in all an excellent site, well run, and highly recommended.
