Really enjoyed our stay at six mile water caravan park. Wish there were more indoor, dog friendly places to eat in Antrim.

If looking for some RnR, this is a terrific site. Very private and despite its location, it's also wonderfully quiet. Each pitch being fully serviced with water and electricity, was excellent. Great shower block and services. Excellent walks along the Lough and close proximity to shops, the castle gardens and the town centre.

I've been coming to this site for many years and couldn't recommend enough.

Great caravan park, spacious sites, no hassle getting in or out. Close to town and restaurants with lovely walks.

The site has a limited capacity. One way that this could be boosted could be to establish a motorhome aire either within the existing caravan park or outside within a portion of the car parking provision. The site is set up excellently for caravans but some of this provision is not needed by Motorhomes. Most Motorhomes and campervans, need only electric hook up, a place to fill their water tanks and somewhere to dump grey water. They are also happy to park up much closer than the layout of the site. Putting in such provision could free up more spaces in the site for caravans, increase visitor numbers and tourist revenue in the area. In the likes of France, there are excellent examples of very simple aires that operate in a similar way to the current provision so you already have many of the building blocks in place.

Easy to Book, quiet, good installations...

Lovely site. Great for families and kids. Great playpark near by. Also lovely walk which takes you to Antrim Castle Gardens. The site and facilities are clean. The only thing that would be to have additional lighting within the site at night time. Other than that fantastic site and location to Antrim town and Junction one.

We had a nice stay in Six Mile Water Caravan Park recently. We didn't use the site facilities apart from the chemical toilet disposal so we can't comment on the other facilities.We've been going to Six Mile Water for many years and always enjoyed the site. However, the absence of a warden now is a little worrying having had a bad experience with people on the caravan park last year using the site as a base to run their business and using our pitch to park their work vehicles and equipment. Not a good experience for us at all. But wardens were very helpful to us at the time. Not sure how this would work out if it happened now, with no personnel onsite!The site does not seem to be as well maintained as we remember it - hedges not maintained so caravan park looking a bit forgotten, compared to how we remember it in the past.....

Lovely campsite clean and well kept . Lovely restaurant a walk away , nice walks and dog friendly . Showers ok clean and standard .
