Ballyronan Caravan Park is part of the marina complex and is situated on the picture-perfect shores of Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland. To compliment the facilities there is also a special Woodland Nature Trail 'Ballyronan Wood' which through specific pathways, viewpoints and information signage highlights the natural beauty of the area.
Bird spotters are spoilt for choice as a ramble through the 5 acre woodland on site boasts views of swans, grebes and tufted ducks. Caravan and Camping at Ballyronan Marina is available 17 March - 30 September.

The area/location and staff are great, the potential to be a fantastic Marina is there, but unfortunately the Marina its self is in poor condition with many parts of the jetty rotted away or missing, there is poor access for boats due to jetties adjacent to slip ways being out of action/closed for years now, this makes it hard for getting boats in and out of the water, the concrete slipway on the beach for launching dinghy's has crumbled away, and the silt build up at the mouth of the Marina causes sail boats with keel to ground on occasions. Last year, 2025 was very bad due to weeds being allowed to build up, causing many sailing events to be cancelled.Ballyronan Marina was the jewel of Lough Neagh, and could be again, but it needs investment to bring it back to its former glory.
Staff very friendly and very helpful. And very patient. Thank you.Blue green algae a constant concern, as not able to swim in the bay without getting very ill.Marina falling apart. Wooden blocks and posts rotting. They either need capped or replaced.
Very close to village and I will return many thanks to the staff
Great family stopover with good playpark and walks. Five minutes walk from shops and pubs
It was very quiet and ll the services were good.
Toilets and showers are well maintained, Staff are all very friendly and helpful.
We didn't really know what to expect of this campsite when we booked. We found the check in a little confusing as there was a barrier preventing us from entering the site. I had to call an official to get the barrier lifted. Once we drove in , a Marina official showed us where to park and unlocked the hook up and left us to it. The shower block was adequate but did not appear to be cleaned effectively everyday. The WCs appeared to have cobwebs etc and floor unwashed. The showers were clean although the push button operation was very short and the initial water jet was nearly scalding in the mens. The laundry had a pile of either washed or unwashed clothes left dumped on the work surface. The area was pleasant to walk around but some cycling trails would be good. The village was mostly shut up whether it is seasonal or permanently closed. The Marina Cafe was great and we had the best latte for a long time there. We wouldn't come back as we only have bikes on which to explore with.
The sun was shinning when we arrived and got set up in no time. Even when it rained it was beautiful. Great wee walks round the marina and small wood. The cafe in the town did I lovely fry, never got to try the scullery as it was closed while we were there. Found the farm shop down the road, I would highly recommend the Guinness wheaten bread and caramel shortbread. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the shower facilities. Having to change on 1 side of the room and cross over to your shower was a bit weird. No where to put your stuff towel, shower gel etc. It was very quiet while I was there thank goodness so no embarrassing moments. Overall lovely spot for relaxing for a few days.
We enjoyed our stay only problem was shower rooms there was a terrible smell in first disabled one so drains could do with a good clean .But everyone one who work there where very nice
Lovely clean site and great walks around the marina, only disappointing thing was the green algae in the water, facilities was very clean and only a short distance to the village
