Spacious, level pitches on the shore of Belfast Lough, city cente 10mins one way,Carrickfergus 10 mins other.Excellent play park and shore walks adjacent to the site.Coffee shop/ ice cream parlour at entrance.Take aways/restuarants within 10 mins. Some may find traffic noise from the A2 main road intrusive, but didn't bother us.Our go to site for visiting Belfast.
Lovely stay pity it wasn’t longer! Lovely clean place stayed before. Great play park lovely walk along seashore. Relaxing, road noise in morning but 1st class place to stay. Wee coffee shop 😊 lovely and friendly girls.
Very nice camping site .Toilets clean and good amenities. Only bad is a little noisy at night with the nearby road but quite down during the night.
Gate opening and closing by minors and 2 / 3 cars at pitches
The site is fine for 1 night as being next to the main road it is very noisy . Easy to get into Belfast.
Good location just outside Belfast but a bit noisy as next to the A2. Ideal having a coffee shop next door. Facilities was very good and clean and showers were free! Pleasant walking area and park next to site.
Camping facilities are very good. There is an intake login through the website but the website is very unclear, it has taken us a lot of time to send the request and get the code. The pincode first did not work but this was solved later correctly by the organisation. There is a lot of traffic noise day and night. Good bicycle connection to Belfast, 40 minutes.
Really good place to stay. Beautifully maintained. Bus to city jut outside the gate. Lovely walk beside it and within walking distance of restaurants
Check in and out were good.Couldn't find a drain for the grey water?
Access to the site was straightforward, using the code provided. My wife and I like the way in which the hedges define each pitch, and the fact that each pitch has all services including grey waste water disposal. There is fairly constant traffic on the adjacent road, but we did not find the noise intrusive. Being adjacent to the Lough Shore Cycle path which links to the Lagan Towpath, this site is very convenient for cycling in to Belfast and on to Lisburn. The fence surrounding the caravan site and the maturing shrubs add to the privacy and security of the site.
