It’s ideal for visiting the titanic experience
Great spot, very clean , facilities are spotless. Regular visitor.
As a regular mid week visitor visiting our elderly ill relative in Belfast hospital I can commend the park’s peaceful atmosphere and location for easy public transport. A little haven to return to at the days end.
Heated floors in the shower facilities were a first, and excellent. Showers were the best ever!
We find Loughshore a really convenient spot for us
Lovely thought of site, utility block superbly clean however outside could do with some attention the bins were overflowing and scrap dumped about on the site. With a few hours easily rectified. Isn’t Ali g side a main road so little noisy rush hour. Children’s play area next door and straight into beach. Would return when next in area for sure but thought the bin and scrap situation was a little excessive …
Couple of th e toilets seats could be attended to as they was lose Lady’s shower hose flopped about a bit Overall very good
Online booking was straightforward and the subsequent information received was comprehensive. It was unfortunate that 3 large Travellers' caravans plus workvans/lorry were in residence on arrival-this did not prevent me accessing my prepaid pitch, but I did witness a couple with a caravan having to leave as their pitch was occupied. Council representatives got the 3 vans to leave the next morning. My main disappointment was that the picture of the hardstanding pitch shown during the booking process does not represent reality-I was hoping for lovely Lough views and had carefully chosen a pitch accordingly, but the fence is now completely covered by hedging and there is no view outward from any of the pitches. Please update your photos for first time bookers! The facilities were cleaned every day and the sluice room was spotless. The cafe and walks by the Lough were right beside the Site. The Shore Road behind the Site is extremely busy, although only a problem if you dislike traffic noise
5 star location for caravan park totally spoiled by 8 foot high hedge that completely blocks the sea view ,the parks usp.sorry i wont be rushing back to park looking at hedge. its nothing like the photo on your web site.
