Beautiful site so close to the beach with fantastic modern caravans and a great onsite pub serving good food

The holiday home we stayed in was of a very high quality.the site was quiet with no rowdy shouting.very suitable for young children.the staff were pleasant and helpFUL.

The Dunes pitches are well situated for easy access to the beach. 7 miles of sandy beach which was never busy while we were there.The pitches at the Dunes are super pitches which have their own electric outlet and drain for grey waste water. This is a huge advantage for anyone who struggles filling water tanks and manoeuvring them to and from the pitch.Plenty room on the pitch for awnings. Excellent value for money.We bought some chips from the Lighthouse restaurant to have with some burgers that we barbecued. They were the worst chips I have ever had. They were what I would call dross and there was hardly a whole chip in the box. Did I complain? No, because by the time I got back to our pitch the burgers were ready.We went to the hotel in Sandhead and had a bar meal there on our last day. It was the best bar meal I have had in a very long time, well worth a visit and we will go back there next time.

Pity this site is so popular but heho that’s life. 5* great for dogs on beach and walkers, amenities are excellent could not falt cheers will defo be back. The Love family

Fabulous location, very friendly helpful staff, The lighthouse food is very filling and tasty 😋 There are walkways down to the beach some a little narrow but keeping in touch with the natural surroundings.A stroll along the beach takes you to the local shop and the Tig bar/restaurant is worth a visit lovely beer garden and delicious food plus dog friendly place.Logan's Botanical Gardens is worth a visit if you like gardening. Port Patrick another lovely place to visit if your able to climb the steps Dunksey castle is another hidden Gem with great views.The beach is huge at Luce bay extremely clean and very relaxing 😎 the lodges are clean tidy with outdoor decking space they have everything you need to enjoy your stay, peace, quiet tranquility in abundance at this location it calls me back year after year 😍

We have been two sands of luce lots of times. It's very chilled relaxing & yes good fun .there's lots to see & do in dumfries & Galloway truly beautiful tropical gardens countryside walking with a larma if you wish 🤞 good food entertainment at the weekend and a good Selection of bears & spirits at the bar 🍸 we will definitely be coming back here.
