Galloway Point campsite overnight stay in campervan

Gillespie, Archie - 23/04/2022

Tranquil, with spotless facilities, well kept grounds in a very scenic area. Very reasonably priced and very helpful, friendly staff. The pub/restaurant across the road was excellent too. The village of Portpatrick is only a 15 minute walk along the coastal path or a 5 minute drive away. I would definitely recommend this place to other people. 😀👍

OK stay

The park its self is lovely the only thing letting it down is the distance the toilet block and showers is from your pitch and the chemical waste is a mile away, not so handy pulling toilet waste all that distance. Really need to put another toilet block and waste closer to the sea view pitches!

Galloway Point Holiday Park

Bernacchi, Janice - 04/04/2022

Staff were friendly and directed us to walks in the area and the town. The park itself was well set out and the cleanliness in the toilets and shower block were of a very high standard. There seemed to be some work going on in the area where we parked however it did not spoil the wonderful view or our stay.

Caught the weather! 😎

Allison, James - 02/04/2022

We arrived late but were met at reception, signed in and guided to our pitch via the water stand. Our pitch had fantastic sea views and easy access to the coastal path. Half mile walk into Portpatrick along the path was beautiful. Our pitch was spacious and the site was peaceful. Facilities were of a good standard and the Galloway pub is literally across the road. As keen runners and cyclists the surrounding area was great for both, but the highlight was coastal walking with our wee dog 🐶 and the amazing views. We will return!
