Whitecairn Holiday Park is located in the south west of Scotland close to Stranraer and offers an outstanding range of luxurious hire lodges with hot tubs, static caravans, touring and camping. The park is an ideal base for exploring Southern Scotland and the Scottish boarders, with plenty of activities nearby. The luxury lodges with hot tubs are perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing family break.

For touring and camping customers there is a brand new modern facilities block. Onsite there is children's play area, and fishing pond.

Whitecairn Caravan Park has a sister Caravan Park in the village of Glenluce just 1.5 miles down the road that has a Private Swimming Pool that customers can book to themselves for 1 hour at a small cost.

Whitecairn is elevated which gives picturesque views of Luce Bay and on good clear day a stunning view of the Isle of Man. Whitecairn is also a stunning location to view the Dark Skies ,

Southern Upland Way, Sandy Beaches and Many More things to explore.

We loved our time at Whitecairn in July! The staff are super friendly and helpful. The lodge was clean and spacious and the hot tub was a huge bonus and big enough for us all to join at the same time. The only thing we were not used to was the Gas Oven. It seemed to take an inordinate amount of time to cook anything but we found our way in the end. Would not hesitate to recommend the holiday park to anyone.

Stayed in pondview 4, the lodge its self was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. Very handy having a washing machine and dish washer. Everyone was very friendly and my nephew and husband had a great time at the fishing pond. The only downside is the WiFi isn't very good which most of time isn't a problem but with young kids and only a small play park to entertain them on site they were searching for their electronics.

Beautiful views from site. Extremely well kept site . Spotlessly clean accomodation and helpful staff. Really requires a car to transport you to the huge amount of beautiful beaches,forest trails and entertainment. The Cock Inn at Auchenmalg provides an excellent well priced menu to enjoy on the premises or take away ..

Nice campsite for a brief overnight stay in a Motorhome, whilst doing to SWC300. Level pitch, with EHU & Water. Nice and quiet with a good shower in the main toilet block.

Whitcairn is a beautiful kept park with lovely views o overlooking the sea. Staff are very helpful. The people in the surrounding Villages and towns are very friendly and always have a word for you. We enjoyed good weather for the week and definitely be back.

For The Perfect Holiday

On arrival at reception I was welcomed by friendly Debbie. Everything was ready and we were able to get straight into the caravan which was to be our home for the week. The caravan was lovely and clean, in a nice spot with nice views and had everything we could possibly need that, although necessary, are not always readily provided in self catering accommodation eg dishwashing soap, hand wash, towels etc. The park itself is well laid out and it is clear to see that the owners truly care about their park. The play park looks lovely and safe for children. They offer afternoon tea which is delivered to your door. This was delicious and excellent value for money.Although ther isn’t a great deal in Glenluce itself there is plenty for everyone around the area. Portpatrick is very popular with plenty eating places although presumably gets really busy in high season and there are a few lovely safe beaches.I highly recommend Whitecairn for a perfect holiday with or without children.
