Easy to find beautiful location right on a lovely beach to walk our dogs. We met up with friends for a break in this lovely part of Scotland that we had not been to before. The staff were friendly and helpful. The caravan was immaculate and had everything we needed. We had several meals at the lighthouse restaurant which were excellent and value for money. We will hopefully be returning next year.

We love being near the beach the man in reception was welcoming and helpful all basic facilities available clean and tidy .No numbered pitches so a bit of a free for all parking not highlighted so some cars preventing you getting your van in position.Portpatrick was a lovely place to visit with great seafood at the pub .Beach great for walks dog loved it . Unfortunately we were served cold food at the on sight restaurant and it was clearly microwaved and returned no apology staff not interested.

The latest in many visits to this site which as always was enjoyable. Enjoyed the first and hopefully not the last beer festival, made all the better by the eeather

My wife and myself had our first night in our new campervan to try it out. Booked into Sands of Luce for a night. Excellent site, toilets and showers were a very high standard. Being a holiday park owner ourselves, this site is run to a high standard and the site is a credit to the owners! Philip & Laura

We enjoyed our holiday very much. The weather was great and we love the area. Being in our 80s it was very relaxing. We used the Restaurant a couple of times to save us going out.

Stayed in static caravan for 4 nights van was spotless on arrival everything was as described on the web site plenty of space and kitchen equipment only minutes from the beach the grounds around the site were kept in tip top conditions lighthouse bar was nicely laid out food was great especially the pizza and reasonably prices....but what really makes this a 5 star location is Lorean and the rest of the staff friendly and couldn't do enough for you...Mull of Galloway great wee trip..Gordon and Margaret

The caravan was spacious and comfortable and we had a lovely stay. This is the 3rd time I've rented a caravan at Sands of Luce - while it is well stocked with crockery/cooking equipment there is little else. On previous occasions there was always a hairdryer and bin bags, none on this occasion. For a park that classes itself at 5* I think this is not consistent. To have to take the actual bin to the recycling every time disposing of rubbish is not acceptable in my view. I have been to other parks which charge somewhat less and much more is provided.

Well run, friendly clean site! Great facilities and the pizza’s are the best!
