A lovely stay at the holiday lodge very clean everything you need for self catering holiday.very peaceful .and dog friendly we will be returning again soon .

I recently stayed in lodge for 2 nights with my daughter and grandchildren.we paid a lot of money for our stay the lodge was beautiful and we loved it, the beds were so comfy too, but our second night was ruined by the extractor fan in en suite shower room making a continual loud banging and scraping noise which kept us awake including a 2 year old child for most of the night . Very disappointing for us and ruined an almost perfect break . I spoke to the maintenance man in morning and he said it was because it was windy during the night and happens a lot to guests. I feel this is unacceptable , I mentioned it on departure and they said maybe a bird was caught in it, we looked in it during the night and in morning and there was nothing in it ,obviously the mechanics of the fan.I feel I should be entitled to a refund for at least the second night as the noise frightened us all and ruined an almost perfect holiday.still waiting on response from park, I did say on departure day too

This was my 3rd time at whitecairn holiday park and will certainly not be my last. Staff are very friendly and the lodges are lovely. Great you can take your dogs with you on holiday and the decking area is huge. Good place to take your dogs a walk. The lodges are well equipped and are beautiful inside where you don’t always get that type of accommodation when you have dogs. Hot tubs are checked every day and are topped up with chemicals if needed. Would love it if whitecairn would reward you with some kind of voucher scheme where returning visitors could be rewarded with a discount. In a good location for visiting historical buildings and the sea is just a few miles away.

My husband and I, daughter, her husband and our granddaughter have been visiting Whitecairn since 1999. We have stayed in a caravan and different lodges. We have seen the site transformed from mainly caravans with a few lodges to its present extensive range of choice between the two.The accommodation has always been very clean and well equipped. The site is well cared for by the groundsmen, maintenance staff and the cleaners. We have found the proprietors and different receptionists over the years excellent to deal with and have felt very welcome during our numerous stays. Southwest Scotland is beautiful with plenty of areas to visit. An excellent place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

The lodge more than met our expectations, it was spotless with lots of little extras provided, like washing up liquid, loo roll, kitchen roll. Beds were very comfy. The hot tub was great as well. It was very peaceful which we enjoyed.My one negative was that having stayed here many years ago I remembered amazing stars due to it being quite dark, we were looking forward to sitting in hot tub & watching them, unfortunately the street lamps shone in our eyes which spoilt star gazing, be great if they could be lowered.

This was our second time staying at Whitecairn Holiday Park while in the area for hill walking again. The site is mostly static caravans but there are some pitches for tents with electric hookups. We were the only people camping. It was lovely and quiet. We arrived later than expected at 7.30pm and used the out of hours phone number to talk with the site warden to confirm our arrival. He was pleasant and welcoming.The tent pitches are large enough to accommodate our tent which has 7.5 m x 3 m footprint. The shower and washing facilities were clean and well maintained. And we weren't asked to follow any ridiculous rules. Happy Camping.

Park was well maintained and peaceful. Hot tub was a lovely wee extra to have. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Plenty of places to explore in surrounding villages.

Immaculate lodge with beautiful views of duck pond and surrounding hills. Equipped with everything you need for a perfect home from home stay with the bonus of a huge luxury hot tub. Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff. Near to the stunning beaches at Luce bay and a short drive to Port Patrick or Stranraer.

Debbie and Elizabeth at reception are great to deal with, the lodges are spotlessly clean, hottub checked every day. I cannot fault anything with Whitecairn park and will definitely be back.
