From booking to leaving everything was as smooth as possible.A call informing that the accommodation was ready and always on hand for anything, however small, made for the usual superb week.The weather always helps and it behaved again, allowing a stunning wander around Gatehouse of Fleet GC.Plenty to do and visit, we shall return for our annual trip.

As a returning guests we knew what to expect from the site. It was November so very quiet and peaceful. Private beach and woods are great for a walks. Within easy drive to Gatehouse of Fleet/ Castle Douglas/Kirkcudbright and other small villages .Reception always welcoming and staff on site always say hello. Sally on housekeeping loves a chat.We stayed in the new hire statics situated at the top of the park with uninterrupted views of countryside. It was immaculately clean and well equipped with kitchen plates/cutlery/pans etc and very comfortable.BBQ and furnished verandah will be great for better weather.

The park is tranquil which is exactly what we wanted. Close to the beach and very well maintained. Our caravan was modern and spotless. An issue with the heating was attended to and rectified within 15 minutes of reporting.

We booked a 2 week stay in September. Sadly due to ill health we were unable to visit. This was dealt with sympathetically by staff, who as always are excellent, friendly and helpful but still professional.We have stayed at Sandgreen previously (3 times). Its a wonderful place to unwind and relax. The beach is so close and offers ever changing views. The site is well kept, tidy, quiet and peaceful at all times. Would certainly be happy to recommend and look forward to our next visit.Thank you

Caravan was lovely. Modern, clean, private and perfect for our family of 4. Amazing to be SO close to the beach, borrow box and play park with outdoor gym. Really quiet despite it still being classed as peak season. Would definitely recommend

We stayed for my Mum's birthday and we had a great time! The caravan was spotless and modern and had a very well equipped kitchen for cooking in. We were blessed with good weather and we had a BBQ as well. The park and the beach were so well maintained and really clean. There is a great park for the kids too. It was a great stay!

Staff were very nice and welcoming.The lodge was immaculate and very comfortable with plenty of room and large tv with free sat and wifi, we had a lovely veranda with a sea view to look out to.Sandgreen is a beautiful place, it was nice, quiet and peaceful so you could really relax there.

We booked at short notice, and received friendly and professional assistance with our enquiries. The site is located at a fantastic place, it is quiet and relaxing and dark!There are great places to visit nearby. Thoroughly recommend this siteGordon

We loved our stay at Sandgreen Caravan Park, and cannot praise it enough. The staff on site were brilliant, very friendly and informative. Our caravan was spotlessly clean, with everything you could need, even tea, coffee etc. We were provided with a huge fridge and freezer, good Tv, fast broadband and comfy beds. The gas bbq was a plus and we enjoyed sitting out on the veranda on an evening. We were surrounded by greenery which made it very private and peaceful. Loved that we only had a short walk to the beach. We visited the nearby ice cream parlour, and it’s crazy golf, also the Red Kite feeding station at Laurieston which was very good.We would highly recommend Sandgreen .

Booking was simple and any queries dealt with in a rapid response time. Check in was friendly and simple and the van was easy to find. The van was spotless and had everything we needed to make our holiday perfect. Tesco's delivery was a bonus and the office directed the driver to the van so we didn't even have to collect from reception.Facilities were amazing - Two bathrooms, excellent fridge/freezer and oven. The view from the van was spectacular - we thought we would miss out on the sea view but really felt we had the best scenery to look at.The beach at Sandgreen is clean and, on the whole, mostly empty. Water is clear but chilly.I want to say don't ever visit Sandgreen as you will be disappointed - but that is only because I want to keep is secret!Sandgreen in our family's happy place. What more can we say?
