Always a pleasure to be back, even with a storm forecast. The hard-standing fully serviced pitches make life easy ( no fetching water in the rain) and have great tv and wifi reception for cosy autumn evenings. It's only a few steps to the impressive toilet block for a long hot shower in toasty, squeaky clean surroundings. The site is in a beautiful woodland setting beside rhe river, lots of birdsong, soothing views and walks from the door.A short( uphill) walk into the village and you have 2 small convenience stores, a great butcher, a bakery, little independent shops and even a fresh fish van at the weekend and a choice of friendly pubs with food and good beer. You are ideally placed to walk or explore the local area but you will have a fab time staying put too.

Stayed at Riverside for three nights in late September. Excellent site with excellent facilities and wi-fi. Everybody was helpful and friendly. Easy walking access into town where there are couple of good bars, two small supermarkets and a butcher. Good walking close to the site. It’s a site we’d definitely go back to.

We loved it at Riverside Bentham, the staff were friendly from beginning to end, the grass pitch was of a generous size, and the facilities were amazing.Bentham was only a 15 minute walk away, with a butchers, bakery, Spar, a few eateries, and very friendly people. We’ll be returning, most definitely.

This is a regular site for us the staff are really friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble the toilet block is always imaculate and warm this site is well worth a visit 5star

A beautiful cottage in the ideal location, close to the station and a 15 minute walk to the local shops.The property has everything you could possible require to make your stay comfortable and was spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable, the shower was powerful and there was always hot water. The lounge is spacious with patio doors leading to a lovely garden with table and chairs. The kitchen is spacious and we liked the fact that all appliances were simple to operate.For wet days there are lots of books, games etc and leaflets are provided for days out.Everyone on site was friendly and we were made welcome. The adjacent caravan site was quiet and the grounds are immaculate, walks can be found right on the doorstep.The Bentham Line by train is a lovely scenic trip and goes from Morecambe to Leeds, stopping at villages and towns along the way and is great when you want to leave the car and have a stress free day out. There are also some lovely walks in the area.

Lovely campsite. Very clean and tidy. We have travelled in the UK and Europe for some years and the toilet block is the very best we have seen. Very clean. Efficient showers. Good radio music. The site itself is very well laid out with flat individual sites for campervan or motorhome. Well done!

Reception were really friendly, site is immaculate as we're the facilities. Lovely safe short walk into the town which has a few places to eat and drink, lovely cafe and a few shops. Great location for walking, we'll definitely be back!

Very impressed with Riverside caravan park. The park was clean, toilet block immaculate, staff friendly. Our dog loved the dog exercise area and the walks into the village. As having no kids with us we didn't use the children's play area but it looked fantastic and my partner was tempted by the big slide!The only negative was the shower switched off after 5 minutes, so if like me you have thick, long hair it was a bit of a rush to finish on time. You can't switch it back on for another 5 minutes. But it wasn't enough of a negative to not return. I just have to learn to be quicker!!
