Really enjoyed our stay on the campsite. Will return.

The site is brilliant. Immaculately clean and well kept with lots of information about things to do in the village. We used the information boards to find somewhere to eat and drink and get breakfast then next Morning. The village is a 15 minute walk away with a couple of nice pubs, cafes and curiosity shops as well as a co-op and takeaways.

We had an amazing time at Riverside, the facilities were first class and the upkeep of the park was beautiful. A highlight of the trip was drinking wine whilst being laid in the river in the glorious sunshine. Only a short walk into town too with is good array of shops and bars.

Honestly couldn’t think of anyway to improve the site , without doubt the best we’ve ever stayed at and we’ve been doing campsites for several years. The lawns were pristine , the facilities perfect , the river added so much to it and the extras like the dog wash were so appreciated. The only site we will ever return to - definitely worth the 5star rating 😊

Booked this place by mistake but glad we did because the site is so peaceful, spotlessly clean everywhere, showers and toilets perfect. The pitches are massive (no overcrowding) staff are very helpful.. only thing missing is a bar but there's 4 pubs within 15 mins walk in to the village. CANT FAULT THIS PLACE AT ALL..

We stayed at Parkside cottage for four nights which fulfilled all of our expectations. Just the whole atmosphere and position was amazing. We then came back for a night later that week in a motorhome we hired and that was just as pleasant. The pitches are huge and the site is extremely well maintained with the showers facility being the best we have experienced in the UK. We will definitely be back.

We found the hard standing pitches to be a little close together, so that when your neighbor pitched their awning it was very close to our offside windows. Tollets were very clean, personally I would have preferred the showers to be in the same area as toilet and sinks, as if you turn the shower on and suddenly decide you need the loo, you would have to get dressed to go !

Lovely well kept pitches and facilities are kept immaculate. There are walks close by and shops 10 minutes walk away. Trains to various destinations. Great golf course at Bentham with discount for staying at the caravan site.

Excellent well maintained site. Staff friendly and professional. Facilities spotlessly clean. A good selection of walks from the site and also walking distance to the village shops and pubs. A great place to stay.
