Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.
The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.
David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.
We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.
We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).
We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.
We are open from Easter to October half term.
A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire
We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.

Rhosson Ganol is a spacious, clean site with lovely views over the north of Ramsey Sound. There is an hourly bus into St Davids and Whitesands. Several 2-3 hour short walks along some of the most beautiful stretches of the Pembrokeshire coast path can be reached on foot or by bus. St Davids is a gem. , just a 10 minute bus ride. The impressive cathedral acquaints the visitor with Welsh spirituality and nationsl dentity through a history of local saints such as David, his mother St Non and contemporary monk Justinian. It's a minute walk from the campsite down to the shore and the loading point for boat trips around the RSPB sanctuary of Ramsey Island with marvellous views of grey seals, sea birds and varied geology.
Rhosson Ganol is a lovely site, peaceful and easy going. Beautiful views and great walks from site.We were in a motorhome and pitches were great. Showers were hot and clean. I never saw any staff/owners but didn't need to as everything on notice board was explanatory. Great site, only stayed 2 nights but will be back again and stay for longer.
Spent one night on this site, peaceful, stunning views and a great coastal walk beckons. The site facilities include a shower / toilet block, EHU, water etcA 20 minute walk up the coast takes you to another site that has a bar and food, walk a little further and whitesands beach can be enjoyed, very popular with surfers, dog walkers etc
Not our first time staying at Rhosson Ganol. If you love nature, sunsets, sea views and coastal walks it's the perfect campsite for you. The toilet block and washing up facilities are a short walk from camp but are clean and well-lit. It's a very quiet, relaxed campsite that I would recommend to other couples wanting to slow life down for a weekend. Perks - the site has fresh baked goods and hot coffee for sale in the mornings located in the entrance to the facilities. You find your pitch number on the board on the way into the campsite.
My second time here after a three year hiatus. I am convinced I was the most weasterly camervan in Wales for four days over Easter! A wild place at the edge of the world. Modern facilities , spotless and showers were always hot.
The location of the campsite was beautiful and easily accessible, the views were stunning and it was the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the sea. The facilities were clean and warm and there was everything you needed. The WiFi was a great addition for looking at maps etc as there is very limited phone service in the area.
Lovely views, poor WiFi connection in far field. And need more information on arrival.
Returning clients so knew the site and what to do on arrival as there is no obvious reception.Great washroom facilities but you do have to walk to them across the road. Lovely place.
Showers lovely and warm and clean. Shame the stormy weather by cut short our stay. Lovely views all the same?
Perfect spot for watching the storm come through. Very quiet due to the weather but pitches are well spaced out so wouldn't be an issue in the warmer months. Ideal location for the coastal path and looks across to Ramsey Island. Excellent facilities and a little bus runs past every hour to take you around the peninsular and to St David's if you don't want to walk.
