Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.
The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.
David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.
We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.
We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).
We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.
We are open from Easter to October half term.
A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire
We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.

I arrived about mid-day and read the notice board as to my pitch. No. 5 It was on the edge of a steep bank to the west. I parked my micro camper but the wind was so strong that I couldn’t erect my privacy we tent for fear of it blowing away. The wind was so strong that it was causing my camper to sway.I stayed there for a couple of hours and the wind didn’t abate. Bearing in mind the toilet block was a very long way away there was no way I was going to walk that far in the middle of the night if I needed the loo.The facility block is so far away from the camping area it’s unbelievable. It comes across as this was a farm and they decided to earn more money by putting up a few electric points. The facilities are totally inadequate and there are no tall hedges or trees to get any shelter from. I packed up and left.
Great site
The site is in a beautiful location and close enough to the beach and st David’s. Facilities good. Would go again
Great view of the sea, 1.5 mile walk into st.davids town along lanes or catch mini bus. Good shower block be prepared to walk to it situated off site. Great sunrise & sunset. The notice board is key for info. Pitch number etc.Remote but ideal for us
A great stay even in stormy conditions. The new addition of breakfast coffees in the morning is great.
The view from your campsite is out of this world.Facilities were great and check in was very easy
Great campsite with very generous pitch sizes! The view of the sea was amazing. The facilities was very good very clean and modern, the only downfall is that there were quite far from the campsite! There is also zero signal on the pitches or WiFi only near the reception/toilet block which was the other side of the lane
LOVE this site SOOOO much. Thanks David & Leslie and see you soon.
Easy access to the extensive Pembrokeshire coast path from this site with amazing views over Ramsey island and access to boat trips. 1.8 mile or 40 minute walk to the gorgeous town of St David’s. Small coffee van on site every morning also offering pastries etc. Facilities are clean and new albeit not many showers and toilets… but enough. Usual washing up/chemical toilet. Not much else on site but then that’s the beauty of it. Quiet as a consequence, for those seeking a bit of tranquility. Staff were very helpful and relaxed - didn’t rush anyone off site on leave day. Recommended.
