Rhosson Ganol caravan and camping site is run by David Griffiths and his wife Kate and David's father Henry. David and Kate have three children, Elin, Lili and Ioan.

The Griffiths family have farmed Rhosson Ganol since 1882 when David's Great Grandfather John Griffiths took on the tenancy at the age of 24 after working on Ramsey Island. David's Grand Parents Ivor and Ivy Griffiths bought the two farms Rhosson Isaf and Rhosson Ganol in 1936/1948 and opened up a field for camping in 1951.

David's Father Henry got planning permission for the static caravan site in 1961. Rhosson Ganol is a working farm and has a suckler beef herd of Limousin and Hereford cattle.

We have 40 grass pitches for touring caravans, camper vans and tents.

We have 20 electric hookups (10 amp) which require early booking to avoid disappointment. These pitches also include your own drinking water supply (two night minimum stay on these pitches).

We have free wifi, and a chemical disposal point on site.

We are open from Easter to October half term.

A superb location for caravan holidays in Pembrokeshire

We are a small, quiet, family oriented site, so we don't take bookings from large youth groups. We also ask for your arrival before 8pm. We don't allow camp fires but are happy with BBQ's. We are a dog friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire, but require dogs to be under control at all times.

Gorgeous location

Lovely location, spacious campsite with decent facilities and plenty of hot water. Beautiful views out to Ramsey Island and it was amazing to watch the sun setting over the sea. Bikes are useful, especially to get delicious pizzas from the neighbouring campsite and to get to the loo. Great place for wildlife, there were lots of swifts and house martins nesting on the site. The local lifeboat is just down the road and you are straight onto the coastal path for walks in either direction, white sand bay isn’t far (no dogs allowed here) but the first beach we came to allowed dogs and was a great spot for paddle boarders. We will definitely go back.

Perfect location. Inadequate amenities

Clark, John - 01/08/2022

Perfect location with a regular bus service or pleasant walk into St. Davids. The amenities were kept clean and well maintained however, there are not enough showers. Two male and two female showers which is totally inadequate when the site is busy. There is only one block of amenities which is a long walk from the main site particularly when the weather is bad. When we stayed we had torrential rain so it was not a nice experience to get to the amenities block. The pathway to the block is not lit up either. I would suggest that there should be toilets available in the main field and the back field even if they are only basic portaloos as it was too far for families to take young children to the amenities block regularly so children were having to urinate on the site itself. There are also no available refreshments in the area but we observed that nearby camp sites were serving coffee, take away food and one had a farm shop on site. The site is not easy to find without a sat nav.

I have no complaints. It is a beautiful, unspoilt campsite. I hope it stays that way!

Walley, Briony - 28/07/2022

A beautiful, peaceful spot. Not overdone. Very rural. I love the fact there are not many facilities. Only what is necessary - water, loos and showers. Gorgeous beaches and walks- this is a destination for people who like stunning views, walking the cliff paths, swimming in the sea and immersing themselves in nature. We have been coming to Rhosson for years. It is a special place.
