This site is immaculate and generally very quiet. The shower and toilet facilities are top notch with proper hair driers with attachments! Cubicles round wash basins with space to put washing kit. Very pretty site with lovely gardens. Owners very personable. All in all the best site we stay on. Many thanks to Andy and team.

Porthtowan park is a great central point for many attractions the site was friendly clean and value for money we hope to stay again in the future.

Our 8th year of staying at Porthtowan Tourist Park. Andrew, Anj, James and colleagues, work tirelessly to keep the facilities and sit clean and of a high standard. We stayed the last week of August and had a fantastic few days. The site was lovely and staff were really friendly and helpful. The pitch sizes were great ( we have a very large tent) the shower/toilet blocks were very clean and tidy and the little shop on site does fresh coffee every morning which was great. On the website, it says you need a 15m electric cable for the powered pitches but we didn’t read it correctly that you needed a 10 amp rather than traditional plug. We went to reception and they were very helpful and lent us a cable for the duration of our stay. It’s was great for the kids with the park and games room and you are only a short drive from Porthtowan Beach which is a great beach with a restaurant, a couple of Bars, fish and chip shop, a play park and a convenience store. There is a Tesco about 7 minute drive from the site if you need anything bigger and there is a petrol station there as well so well located for all your needs. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Everything exceeded our expectations on this site, from the friendliness of staff and other campers, to the immaculate facilities while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.We will certainly visit again and would recommend the site to anyone, families, couples, friends. Great location too for exploring the local area and beaches.

Porthtowan Tourist Park is a first class camping and caravan park with or without electric hook up. The plots are gravel or grass depending on your requirements, they are flat & are all 10m x 10m which is more than adequate for any sized tent or caravan plus vehicle side parking. The toilet, shower & pot wash facilities are super clean & the number of toilet, wash & shower units is sufficient for this size of park - it never gets to the stage where you are queueing for any length of time at all. The shop is small, but stocks all the essentials, plus you can order fresh coffees, teas, milk shakes & crepes should you wish to. There is a generous children's play area in the middle of the park with swings, slides etc & generous sized indoor games area with pool table, table tennis table etc which is ideal for all if the weather is The staff are very pleasant, helpful, & efficient - I cannot fault this park in any way & will recommend to family & friends.

Very clean and tidy site. Showers spotless. Staff very polite. Shop priced ok. Tennis and football field great. Park for the kids ideal. Washing machines priced a little too high at £6 a wash. But overall a great site.

We have been coming to Porthtowan Tourist Park for 36 years. The staff are always available and will always help you. The facilities are spotless. Although the site is a family site you still have a pieceful and relaxing holiday. The location of the site gives you easy access to explore the local area.

I have rated this as five star as the negative comments below are not the sites fault. Lovely and quiet with large pitch. Clean facilities (shower and toilets) and really pleased to see recycling bins in the waste area. Games room is great as well as play field. My only observation whilst there was some teens were coming from the other side of the camp to vape in the ‘hidden’ part where the bench is. Unfortunately, they see the bushes on the roundabout as a good hiding place. They turned up every night just before dusk and were shouting and swearing. On one night three different pitches spoke to the boy about his unacceptable language. They left leaving there rubbish behind and jumping over the fence onto the play field 😡I love this site and will not let the above stop us from returning. My dog has the best time in the dog walking area where she can be let off lead. Thank you for a wonderful week.
