If you are looking for the perfect base in the Lake District, then look no further than Park Foot Holiday Park. Set on the banks of Ullswater, in the heart of the Lakes, we have three camping fields, all with electric hook up points, suitable for tents, caravans and motor homes and each have their own modern toilet and shower block.
Striding Edge field is situated close to the shop, new playground and new toilet/shower block. Sandall Field is situated closer to the reception area and TJ’s Restaurant/Bar. Lakeside Field has access to Lake Ullswater, providing stunning, picturesque views for those long, hot summer nights. There are drinking water taps placed conveniently around all the camping fields.
We want our guests to enjoy the experience of camping in Cumbria, so we endeavour to provide a friendly service and impeccable facilities. In doing so we hope our guests will continue to camp in the Lake District year after year, appreciating the beauty of Lake Ullswater, Pooley Bridge and our surrounding area.
Want to be on park, with self-catering, but don’t fancy a tent? Our luxury lodges, log cabins and cottages have complete access to the facilities at Park Foot.
At Park Foot, we have our own beach and launching facilities – free for those staying at the Park. You can also fish on Lake Ullswater for still water trout, perch, pike, char and schelly wild brown trout. The fishing season is from 15th March to 30th September each year - please note a rod license is required.
Please note, we are a family park only and do not accept groups.

It is furnished and equipped to a high standard with wheelchair access and wet room which makes the property ideal for those with limited mobility, it comprises:

The campsite has everything you need and more. But it’s the location that really makes it. If you pick the right field, you can get to the lake within 3 minutes walk, which was perfect. We did so much swimming!
I'm not usually one for camping and we booked this on a while, but I had a great time here. It was peaceful and the amenities were outstanding. Feel like they had thought of everything. The dog shower was welcome extra, and so was the shop when we forgot firewood! Will definitely be going back.
Location is excellent, the park is always kept clean and tidy, plenty of amenities that are all well kept, onsite shop, bar and restaurant. Close to lots of walks and the steamer and bus route. Staff are extremely helpful and polite which is great.

Had a 2 night stay in a campervan and had a lovely stay. Big site but it's quiet, peaceful and very clean.Lots of staff looking after the place keeping it in tip top condition. Great access to the lake for activities, we took paddleboards and it was only a short walk from our pitch to the lake. Possibly the nicest toilet/shower block I've ever seen.Hard to find any negatives, possibly food and drink prices in the restaurant but it's the same everywhere these days.
After a week away in the highlands we stopped over at Park Foot- what an amazing location & campsite. We were in the field nearest the lake & next to the new toilet block- pristine, warm & super clean. This certainly is a place we’ll come back to as we love kayaking and it was an only a short walk to access it.

A very busy site but thoroughly enjoyed it local shop has everything you need and morenew toilet and shower block was clean but recommend you put toilet brushes in the toilet cubicles.plenty to do around the area just be prepared for rain it is the Lakesrecommend ensuring your electrical hook up cable and water hose is long as on the premium pitches they are not all close byalso recommend you take a tap hose splitter as there was two taps for 4 pitches!its within easy walk to pooley bridge much easier than expected.prices around i found reasonable (except gifts) considering where it is.if you have kids there is a fantastic park and stream close to the bar and cafe area to keep an ey on them.has a good boat or kayak access to water.the road drive in was not to daunting with a twin axle,the full gravel premium pitches are not fully level but flat enough.hope to return when it's a bit quieter.
