This is the 3rd time we've stayed.A great site, beautiful views and walk along the river. Very safe for children and a small play area for them.Good facilities, hot showers and clean.Robert and his wife are great hosts.

Piece and quiet from start to finish. A super site with everything you need. Owners are lovely people and run a great place. The honesty shop is brilliant kids loved the gliders and cakes. The river is stunning.

Stayed as part of a large group with 14 kids aged 1-11. The site was perfect for us. There was loads of space for the kids to play and it felt very safe. Although the owner said it was one of the busiest weekends of the year, it didn't feel crowded and we really appreciated that. the facilities were ample and well looked after. Staff SO friendly and although we didn't have any issues I really felt that if we had, they would have been dealt with promptly. Location is great - lovely walks along the river. We really hope to be back!

Have stayed here quite often with both our tent and touring caravan for the last 18 years. Beautiful location, stunning views. Other family members and various friends have visited with us on many occasions who have been impressed too.Shower facilities are good and kept clean but be early for showers as can get quite busy at times.WiFi room recently built which is great for kids and a little honesty shop selling amazing local cakes and treats.Only 1 mile to the 2 local pubs, village shop a another mile to pub and Co-op, plus train station which runs Settle-Carlisle service.Only 8 miles into Penrith or 15 into Carlisle by car.Will continue to visit no doubt in the future, depending on availability as pitches get booked up quite quickly.

4th time stayed here. Fantastic location, lovely and peaceful settings. Robert and Julie make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much for them. Can’t wait to return.

Our experience at mains farm was perfect, the weather was outstanding and hot with crisp mornings, was our 1st trip away with our puppy Milo, the walks there was great especially along the river. Pub was only about a mile walk which was good for us. Great pitches with electric and very clean. Really looking forward to be going back there again this year, thanks guys for a super stay and will see you again soon 💯👌🏻👍🏻🙂
