A lovely peaceful campsite with different types of accommodation for all to enjoy. Robert and Julie are excellent hosts as always. Our favourite place to be to chill out and relax.

We stayed in our caravan it was perfect and we’re able to relax and also take part in an agility competition that was on for the weekend. The location is right near a gorgeous river which was stunning. The owners were friendly and couldn’t have done anymore such a good place to relax and enjoy the local countryside.This was our second visit and will definitely be back again

Facilities were fab the owners couldn’t have done anymore, I stayed in a pod it had power heating and was very clean and the views were out of this world

Ask other residents when leaving dog's alone in accommodation to ensure that they're not left to persistently bark. This can annoy others sitting in their accommodation.

Julie and Robert really were the most perfect hosts. We were not the easiest of bookings to deal with as we booked 9 months in advance and selected a particular field in which to pitch our campervan for the week. Unfortunately during the intervening period we bought a caravan which we knew would not be ideal of the pitch we had booked. When we made contact to discuss this we Julie assured us that, although not ideal, we could 'tuck the caravan' into a corner and park the campervan we tow with on an area of land just opposite. When we arrived Robert guided us to our spot and it was absolutely perfect with glorious views, uninterrupted views across the valley. The only reservation was how, considering the heavy rain fall all week, we would get our big heavy unit off the pitch. We need not have feared as Robert was immediately on hand to tow us off with his tractor. The facilities at Mains farm were excellent too with a choice of two really warm toilet/shower blocks.

We have been coming to Mains farm for years now. We come to an agility show held at the farm. The camp site is excellent. Plenty of space and the amenities are perfect. Very clean and there is everything there that you need for your stay. A beautiful area which makes coming all the more enjoyable. Nothing is a bother and staff are really friendly. Would absolutely recommend. We will be back next year.
