We only stayed for one night but we have a lovely warm welcome, facilities are good and clean. We will be returning for sure!

Nice location near the river, short walk to village with two good pubs, lovely walks from the site.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. The owner welcomed us like we were long-lost family, handing over a map of Mains Farm she’d thoughtfully printed, and showed us to our pitch.The site was full of kids running around, having the time of their lives. It’s like a dream for children—there’s an awesome playground and a hill that they climbed over and over, like tiny mountaineers. And then there’s the WiFi shed, which had games to keep them entertained when they needed a break from conquering the hill!The facilities were top-notch. A fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and even an honesty shop selling essentials, snacks, and cakes (dangerously delicious). The toilets and showers were super clean, and we even had some surprise guests—friendly eight-legged spiders hanging out in the bathrooms! Honestly, they made the place feel extra rustic, and I think we’re best friends now. The fridges and kettle in the toilet block were also a great touch

This is our 2nd time staying in the Pod accommodation at Mains Farm and we love it. Easy to get to, straight forward check in with very helpful and friendly welcomings. We're left to our own devices whilst on site, so long as respect is shown to the facilities and other holidaying families. My little boy (6yr old) loves it here and wants to return as soon as. It was the first time taking our pup too, who also loved the environment and the local walks with the short travel into Pooley Bridge. This is a place we will be attending yearly, somewhat start a little tradition for my boy, in a place we feel safe and are able to make amazing memories. We had a lovely few days away in one of the camping pods. It was very clean and I felt warm and safe in the evenings. The site was great for my son to play and we really enjoyed it.

A fantastic campsite from pulling onto the site well sign posted off the main road follow the sign to the main farm house where you will be met by the friendly owners Julie and Robert to get you booked in and get all the info of the site then it’s off to your pitch and wow the pitches are located in a few areas all well spaced out and loads of room around the pitches all within easy reach if the facilities they have from the large shower and toilet areas there is also a washing up area with a fridge and freezer to use and kettle and toaster they also hire out private bathrooms for your stay and they are a fantastic addition to the camping experience there is a park for the kids to play in and easy access to the river Eden at the bottom of the site we love this site for the lovely safe feeling you get they also hire fire pits out to use and have a lovely honesty shop selling essentials you could want and some lovely homemade cakes and jams we like this site for the feeling of space

Excellent family farm site, all the facilities needed and so on. We will be back!

We have stayed now numerous times. The location is perfect and really beautiful. The pitches are very well spaced with the majority having electric hook up. The campsite is peaceful in the main. The kids get really noisy in the play area, only to be expected but they close that area at about 8-9pm or whenever it starts to go dark. Campsite is very peaceful, you can sit until fairly late round your fire pits and enjoy time with family/friends. The only thing I would improve is a games room for kids for poor weather days. There is an excellent Wi-Fi room, but that on a Sunday afternoon got full of men drinking beer and watching the football. Probably bad timing but it did limit the kids space and not a welcoming atmosphere for them anyway.
