Overall very impressed with this campsite. Choice of pitches, excellent amenities and good value for money.

We had a great time at Higher Moor farm the site was very clean and tidy, they even provided washing up liquid. It was quiet and tranquil. We walked to the main road to get a bus into Weymouth and got a taxi back, which wasn’t much more than the bus. Maybe the shop could do with more choice, the staff were so helpful and friendly.

This was our 3rd time staying at Higher Moor Farm and we will definitely be back again. The facilities are great, always clean and the site has such a lovely chilled atmosphere. Great location and lovely friendly staff.

We stayed for a weekend at Higher Moor Farm Campsite -and had a mixed experience. The good points were that the toilets and showers were immaculate and very well laid out and the staff were very friendly.The two main issues we had with the site were these; 1. The campsite is not flat. At all. There was not a single flat pitch. This is fine if you have levelling kit with you, but definitely not good for awning/tents. 2. There was no mention of the HUGE electricity pylon that runs over the end of the campsite. It's enormous, and you could hear the crackling of electricity from all parts of the campsite 24/7. Considering EMFs from pylons can effect medical implants and increase risk of cancer this should be mentioned beforehand.

The welcome was a warm one, unfussy factual without being officious. Our pitch was of a reasonable size but a little tight when using an awning and getting the car on as well. There are plenty of service points with fresh water as well as chemi and recycling. The shower block was exemplary, immaculately clean and taking a shower was a pleasure. The only comment I would make, and we heard this from other “campers” was the hot water at the pot wash was very cool by comparison to the showers. Strange but true. That apart we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return and recommend.

My family and I visited Higher Moor Farm to revisit my own childhood family destination Weymouth. The pod was beautifully laid out and clean. The children especially loved the freedomOf the park being a small site they were able to explore the play area freely with us being able to see them from the pod whilst we cooked or packed. Weymouth itself there is plenty to see and do and with us being lucky to have sunny weather we enjoyed the beaches explored Portland and even went on a fossil hunting adventure at Charmouth. The site was recommended to us and I can see why, we will definitely be re-visiting and sharing our recommendations.

Very friendly staff, well kept and nice campsite. Pod was as per description and equipped with all the essentials. Very memorable holiday and recommended place to stay

I couldn't fault anything from the booking to the time we arrived and left. A lovely safe and quiet site. Highly recommend.

Had a lovely stay, facilities were modern and cleanliness was 5 star! Location was easy to find, friendly welcome, even being escorted to our pitch. We stayed Easter weekend and took part in the free easter egg hunt which was a lovely added bonus for our children 6 and 4 years. The play park was maintained well but could be expanded to include more equipment, was on the small side. That said the arcade area was well stocked. Overall had a lovely stay and would return.
