The staff are great and facilities unrivalled. Toilets and showers were spotless and the general amenities excellent. Cycling to Bala is easy with children as there are pavements all the way. The lake is wonderful, shallow and safe

We were shown to our pitch by friendly staff who rode ahead on their bike. The little shop/reception is well stocked and there were two ‘pop up’ food vans on different evenings whilst we were there - a steak van and a pizza van. We had dinner from the steak van and it was absolutely delicious! The lake was lovely and we had brought our paddle board to enjoy. The facilities were clean and plenty of them. It is a busy site but big enough not to be noisy and everyone was quiet by 10.30pm. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay, helpful staff, well stocked shop, relaxed atmosphere, clean facilities, plenty of room on our pitch and a beautiful location, we will definitely be booking again.

We had a lovely stay at Glanllyn Caravan Park. The campsite was beautiful, peaceful and exceptionally clean, with stunning views across the lake. The surrounding scenery was absolutely breathtaking and made it a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.The site was well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean and convenient, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful surrounding area, with plenty of opportunities for walking, sightseeing and enjoying nature.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and felt it offered excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend Glanllyn Caravan Park and hope to return again in the future.

Beautiful place only 1 thing i was concerned about was I'm disabled and found it very hard to get to shower and toilets maybe a new facility on level ground would be most welcome

A beautiful family run campsite on the shores of Lake Bala.On arrival my wife and I were made very welcome and allocated pitch 34.We stayed for 5 nights and will definitely be returning. No complaints from us ,everything is clean and well maintained and all the staff we met were very helpful .I rated the campsite 4 /5: rather than 5/5 , only because in an ideal world it would be nice to be able to access more of the lakeside directly from the site for walks , though. to be fair you can get diwn to the lakeside by follwing the roadsude footoatd for 500 yards or so

It’s hard to find a better site not just for the water/lake Easy to locate, staff on hand to take you straight to your pitch which I find really safe and helpful, site is well maintained with spotless toilets/ showers etc Easy to walk or drive to Bala town centre Bus route outside to take you out and about Would 100% recommend any family’s to it site

Each year our club attends our annual paddle board weekend away, the campsite its safe for all and the facillitues are outstanding. Mid Cheshire SUP will be back next year for sure.

Had a great weekend at Glan llyn. All the family enjoyed it and all got in or on the water

This was our second time here having spent a week here last August. Still love the site and had a touring pitch with plenty of room for the awning and parking. The new addition of the table tennis kept the grandkids occupied.
