Perfect weather, beautiful site very clean facilities

We had a really lovely long weekend on this fabulous campsite. The staff were really friendly and facilities were great. You couldn't get any closer to Bala lake if you tried and the waters lovely and shallow for a long way out which was great for the kids. Sadly there's an extra charge for launching from the beach at the campsite but my understanding is that's Snowdonia Nationap Park charging not the campsite... shame it isn't included in the pitch fees as this is why you stay here and it works our expensive per day.

A very spacious and well organised site with excellent wash facilities and a beautiful location next to the Lake.Everyone was very relaxed and friendly and people were setting up BBQs in the warm evenings.

We have visited this campsite a couple of times and we highly recommend it. Direct access to the lake is a massive bonus, pitches are not delimited which makes the campsite look overcrowded at most times however each time we visited we had nothing to complain and enjoyed our pitch. They usually allow big gatherings but the site is quiet after 11pm. Walk to Bala town in 1 hr or take the bus from the campsite entrance (4 min bus ride). Small shop on site with some essentials however for big food shops we reccommend going to the town. Great views from all pitches and gorgeous sunsets

Friendly and well run site on the shore of Lake Bala . launch SUP's and kayaks from the site, sit around camp fires watch the stars. This was our third year at this site meeting friends and could not recommend it more

Had four nights here, it was excellent stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the site facilities were always very clean. The location on the side of lake Bala was superb.

Would consider going again, we had fabulous weather for the 3 days we were there. Well maintained and clean . Great for water sports. Friendly and helpful staff. Down side you can't walk all the way round the lake. Alot of the walk way runs parallel to main road or actually on the road. Can be a little noisy with traffic but not too intrusive.

The site was generally pleasant and well run. The facilities on site were good and well maintained.Access to the lake was great.We were a little disappointed with how crowded the middle field was but understood it was a busy bank holiday.What really spoiled it for us was that the motorhome next to us sat with their engine running for over 3 hours on the Saturday night. It really spoiled the ambience and ruined the evening.
