Good site in lovely position. Toilet facilities need upgrade then could be 4/5*

Friendly helpful warden/Ally.Probs with online booking didn't help but managed by fone eventually. If drainage at pitches could be sorted would be great and justify a cost increase.Local walks good.More restaurants open in village would be good.

We hadn't used the pods in a few years so booked after we seen they had been upgraded. I love this little town, love the caravan site and the setting. I'll never tire of the views. The pods are great but I've realised I'm too old to be without a toilet now during the night haha. 3 little things that would make all the difference would be a toaster, a bin and hooks to hang clothes on. The bed is comfy, showers are good, easy check in. We'll definitely be back. It would be good to upgrade the pods nearest the toilets. I really think the warden should consider making a couple of them dog friendly also, especially the disability one.

The pods with the bed and sofa are very nice however the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. When I go again I willTake a small camping mattress. The pod could do with some hanging hooks. The view was outstanding right on the waterfront. I would definitely book again for the moreComfy pods.

Beautiful location for family stay

Hill, Kerry - 12/09/2024

We love this caravan park for a trip away, the views are amazing, the site is clean and quiet and it has lovely walks around the area. Staff are always friendly. The one thing that lets it down and has done for a few years now, is the facilities. The toilets just aren't good enough. This weekend, one of the female toilets was closed due to maintenance, but this seems to be the case each time we attend, when they are closed for updating/maintenance, but never any improvement in them. Thankfully the showers worked this time, as previous visits the pressure has been so bad, the machine eats your money but little to no water comes out. This does let the site down.

What a location!!

First impressions on arrival was the feeling we had found a little slice of paradise. However, whilst not a bad site there were a few areas we didn’t really like. First, the pitches are quite small and close together making parking a bit difficult. The site toilets are also open to the general public so a lot of footfall. The harbour is very busy with fishermen, the lifeboat and the yatch/sailing clubs so if you don’t like noise and activity this isn’t the site for you. Personally I really enjoyed watching the boats going in and out. Would return but wouldn’t be one of my top ten places

Stunning view

We were so impressed with the pitch we were given(1), very large grass area to the left side. The guy who meet us at the gate was friendly and informative. My only gripe which is why I only gave 4* is the toilet block is in desperate need of modernising.
