Ballyronan Caravan Park is part of the marina complex and is situated on the picture-perfect shores of Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland. To compliment the facilities there is also a special Woodland Nature Trail 'Ballyronan Wood' which through specific pathways, viewpoints and information signage highlights the natural beauty of the area.
Bird spotters are spoilt for choice as a ramble through the 5 acre woodland on site boasts views of swans, grebes and tufted ducks. Caravan and Camping at Ballyronan Marina is available 17 March - 30 September.
Ballyronan On-Water Glamping Pods, nestled in the shelter of Ballyronan Marina, on the shores of Lough Neagh, offer a luxury glamping experience with a difference. Pitches are well kept and have plenty of room for caravan and Car, well spaced out and the layout is good so you are not looking directly into another van. Nice short walks and the town has a couple of cafe's and a bar. There's a lovely restaurant 3 miles up the road, food was excellent. Marina has great play park for children. Would be a good idea to put entry instructions and pitch number onto receipt. Toilets, showers and kitchen facilities are accessed by using a pin code, which is a good idea. They were clean and well kept during my stay. The site supervisor, Ashley, was very friendly and approachable. Will definitely be back.
Very well laid out site, close to shop and bars, everything very clean and well kept
Everything u need in the one place absolutely so lovely really enjoyed it everyone so pleasant would highly recommend to others such a lovely place to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery around you
Booked tent pitch for me, wife and 3 kids for 2 nights.Unfortunately neighbours in tent beside us stayed up to 4am talking absolute sh*te and drinking. Told to be quiet and never listened. No attendant on site and no reception to ring anyone.Left after 1 night.Lesson learnt.
Great place had a great view only downside was no water at the pitch Chinese on site just up in the town was a great chipper & 3 bars will be back again
Family weekend away and this site was great, toilets and shower facilities were clean and tidy at no extra cost. Nice space beside caravan. Play park was really good, my little girl loved it. Shops, Bars and takeaways few minute walk away. We had food from the village chippy which was really nice. Highly recommend the bar " Jonny Fox" staff so welcoming and friendly, my daughter they made a we fuss off :) There is also a tesco and lidl not to far. I will be booking to come back soon
Had a great overnight stay in Ballyronan. Site well sorted. All you want for the stay. I have only one thing to say. The staff need to sort out the wash room pin code user. I did what it said on the page to open the door for the toilets and wash room but a few times it didnt work. That was my only problem. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and pleasent. We will be back afain, hopefully to stay longer to stay the next time. Thanks very much.Mary Seaward
We had a pitch with a lovely view overlooking the marina. There were short walks around the marina and the woodland and a handy cafe next door which served lovely coffee. There was a small grocery store in the village. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The toilet facilities were fine although not as good as the ones at Dungannon. It is very handy for the main road to Belfast/Larne. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a great weekend with family, lite the fire, others in caravans joined us and we had a great time, highly recommended.
This was our second trip to Ballyronan Camp Site. It was every bit as good as the first time. We will return another time. The cleanliness is five star with plenty of hot water and staff area if you need them. The pitches for the caravan are wide with room for your car. It is ideal for touring around the area.I would highly recommend it.
