We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this site. Lovely plots, well spaced with good facilities. Safe family site. Lovely woods to walk in. Would have been nice if there was a walking/cycling route along the side of the Lough.
The site facilities are very clean with hot showers, and a fantastic play park. The site location is great they have an on-site cafe, chinese and ice cream van. Plus a short walk under 5mins there is a shop, cafe and bars. The town residents are lovely, it’s a very friendly area. I recommend The Cove bar for a drink and Chew & Chat does a lovely lunch and traybakes. The downside to our stay is the caravan site is not locked at night with a barrier, the site is open to public who can drive in and out. Also the grounds of the park are not very big walking trails only cover 2km. Definitely worth a weekend visit. We would return.
Lovely setting. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return.
Nice pitches in the marina. There are short walks to do from the marina but it’s a bit limited. Toilet block could have been cleaner. There was a huge spider in the showers and the floor was dusty. Washing machines and dryer did not work wonderfully. Washing machine didnt rinse properly and dryer only dried a tiny bit. Staff very friendly.
The entrance barrier and hight barrier is rather confusing for first time visitors, there should be specific instructions and directional arrows for motorhomes and caravaners.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean but the layout of the showers was awkward with no easy access to your belongings or towel! Close to the little village so handy for groceries and Guinness.
No water or waste at each site millions of midgets staff very friendly.
Staff were welcoming and helpful. Facilities were great. Small town and marina has the main amenities for a short stay. Was perfect as a stop for my bikepacking trip.
Great site, all amenities you need. Shops and bars in walking distance. Would be good to have access to a sheltered area / communal space for campers on rainy days
Lovely village and everything you need pubs shop and cafes .Lovely walks round the lough.
