Great organised campsite

We recently stayed at Ardtower for just one overnight stop. We arrived mid afternoon and was greeted by a lovley lady on reception who advices of what spot we had on the site and gave us some overall information of the area. The site was spacious and well kept. Toilet and shower facilities were great, plenty of space and loved the radio speakers for some background noise. We didn’t explore the area as we were leaving early. Would highly recommend this campsite and if we come up to Scotland again I would stay again. Great value for money.

Great facilities BUT …..

Ogrady, Richard - 03/06/2026

The site and pitch were really good. Great facilities except my wife and I are not very mobile and we have a dog that needs good walks. The site dog walk is very limited and at the top of a slope from our caravan. Also, the nearest good dog walk is 4 minute walk away down a hill and a very main road. Couldn’t do the walk back without great difficulty. So, we changed sites after one night to a flatter site with excellent dog walks from the site. So, Ardtower is a great site but not for us, thanks.

Excellent Place to stay.

Machgee, Cheryl - 02/06/2026

I recently stayed in the Suilven cabin. It's was really lovely inside and very clean. I normally struggle to sleep in a bed that isn't my own but the bed there was very comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping. I loved that it was nice and private with the fenced off garden area too. I was able to enjoy my breakfast outside at the little table in the morning. The cabin had everything I needed and is nicely decorated. The views around the campsite are beautiful. I will absolutely be back again. Lovely staff, excellent stay.

We have stayed at Ardtower a few times. The site is clean, pitches spacious and it’s a perfect first stop for the NC500, or if you want to dolphin watch at chanonry point nearby. The pizzas are brilliant too! From our stay this week though I have to say a huge huge thank you to Elaine who really went above and beyond to help us when our van broke down. She couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful during a really stressful time. Will absolutely be returning again.
