We have stayed at Ardtower a few times. The site is clean, pitches spacious and it’s a perfect first stop for the NC500, or if you want to dolphin watch at chanonry point nearby. The pizzas are brilliant too! From our stay this week though I have to say a huge huge thank you to Elaine who really went above and beyond to help us when our van broke down. She couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful during a really stressful time. Will absolutely be returning again.
Easy online booking, great serviceWarm welcome from the team, friendly peopleSanitary facilities very modern and clean, entry with codes, nice music already in the morning; the upper pitches require a bit of a walk, but offer a fantastic viewTerraced layout, gravel pitches with grassy patches in between – fairly level, easy to adjustSmall café on site serving snacks – sometimes pizza nights (reservations required)Quickly into town, taxi companies are easily accessibleWastewater, water, chemical disposal – all excellently set upBarrier system with number recognition – fantasticWould definitely come back!
Nice site on the outskirts of Inverness. Clean toilets and nice size pitches. We had pizza from the cafe in the evening which was fab. Great views!
We only stayed one night as we were en route. Easy to find and check in. Very spacious pitches and site well laid out. Quite a large site so became very busy later on. Plentiful central facilities for washing/showering etc and immaculately clean. Piped music in the bathroom was a little too loud for my liking. Can't comment on local attractions as we weren't there long enough but seems handy to access the local area and Inverness.
Stayed at Escape Lodge 2, fantastic, comfortable space with a great view, also good privacy with the clever fencing around the lodge, will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This campsite is modern, well set out with excellent facilities. The staff are lovely and very helpful. We were lucky to get a pitch with view. Location is great for visiting surrounding areas. Would definitely return.
Camping with a bus stopt 20 minuten always.
What a lovely little sight only few pitches which was nice friendly staff clean facilities would go back again
This was our first stay at Ardtower caravan park and our first impressions were wow! Lovely clean site with spacious pitches and a cracking view .Staff members were lovely and friendly and would chat whenever we saw them. The facilities are modern and clean and you also have the option to pay an additional amount to have your own personal bathroom if you wish. We made use of the bbq hut for an evening which is an additional charge. There’s a cafe onsite that does pizzas where you can sit in or takeaway . To our surprise an ice cream van came around the size in the evening too. Lots to do in the area , Culloden Battlefield is just along the road and not a long drive to Chanonry point . Wish we had booked for longer but we will definitely be back
First impression was excellent, site clean and tidy.Warm welcome at reception and very clear information given regarding facilities etc.Pitches well laid out, in tiers so get a lovely view.Facilities were very clean.Would definitely recommend. We only stayed one night as.travelling onto the NC500 tour, but would return for a longer stay.
