Our touring campsite and glamping pods are dotted about this wonderful and secluded landscape surrounded by natural and arable land. The river ‘Nairn’ can be accessed from the site and in the Spring it’s banks are covered with thousands of bluebells.
It’s a place a world apart from the rush and clutter of the modern holiday experience, with an atmosphere that makes you forget the world outside, and just lounge, ramble, or potter about.
We're committed to giving you a genuinely individual service from first contact to your time staying with us and “contribute to making happy memories every day”.
On Site is an ancient archaeological monument. This monument is locally known as 'Hangman's Cairn' and is an excellent example of a well-preserved Bronze Age Barrow and contemporary surrounding bank. The monument comprises a sub-circular mound, measuring around 25 m in diameter and standing to a height of around 3.3 m.
Our large 12m x 7m hard-standing touring pitches are arranged sympathetically around the Site to allow for different views wherever you pitch up. All these pitches have electricity, and a water tap is shared between two pitches. One hard-standing pitch situated near the toilet block is a dedicated disabled pitch.
The grass pitches are there for the smaller vehicles - roof tents, campervans, small motor homes and very small tents and are located overlooking the nature park and pond. A number of these pitches have electricity. Water taps are shared amongst the grass pitches. For non electric tent pitches you will be shown to a suitable spot.
One of our recent additions to the site is a dedicated ‘Nearly wild camping’ area. Situated slightly away from the other campers, sheltered behind a large hill offering a more relaxed feel for 4x4 vehicles and the likes while still being able to access toilet facilities if required.
Existing Electric grass tent bookings will be on a 10 m x 4 m pitch. It is the clients responsibility to ensure their tent, guy lines and awning fit in this space.
The campsite features 2 Glamping Pods. Sitting outside the pods, facing southwards you look out over the farmland and have direct views to the ancient monument on the site. Each insulated and heated pod sleeps up to two people. There is a small kitchen unit with a sink, a kettle and a toaster. Toilet and shower facilities are close by. All Pods are strictly pet free. No exceptions.
Accessible through a gate from the campground, you and your four-legged friend can take a stroll through the nature park. Walk around the pond and sit and enjoy the views. Dogs are welcome to walk off the lead in this nature park, but we ask the owners to look after their four-legged friends at all times. It goes without saying to please clean up after your dog.
In the pond there are gold fish and many frogs. Fishing this pond is not allowed however feel free to enjoy a refreshing swim.
Our Glamping Pods face southwards looking over the farmland and sleep up to two adults (and one infant but you will need to bring your own travel cot)
There is a small kitchen unit with a sink, kettle and toaster. The glamping pod beds come with a double bed with mattress only. Own bedding needs to be brought. Toilet and shower facilities are close by.

Lovely, well laid out. Accesible. Excellent facilities.
This is a beautifully well kept site in a quiet rural location. Facilities are first class and super clean. On arrival we requested to be moved from our allocated pitch so that we could have a better view of the hills and this was accommodated without any fuss. The enclosed dog exercise area was a brilliant safe area that we utilised to train recall to our 14 month old puppy. We will definitely be returning in the future!!
Amazing views all around, excellent facilities and kept spotlessly clean. Good size pitches, very friendly and helpful staff, very clear pricing structure and not over the top prices. A new site shop is under construction which will be an excellent addition to the site and for guests. Only three miles or so from the wonderful sandy beaches and quaint small town at Nairn. Would highly recommend this site for a peaceful stay in wonderful countryside.
Lovely campsite with hard standing and grass pitches. They also have a couple of huts available to rent which are super cute! Word is they will have a shop opening on site which will be a bonus. Even though you're not far from Inverness or Nairn, it's a beautiful, secluded site with stunning views. Toilets and showers are immaculate. All staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Being there on off season toilets we're closed so unable to comment but I am sure by looking at the way the site is developed that they will be of a high standard. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
This is my kind of site, not too large and well maintained. I was there in January when only self-contained units are allowed due to the toilets and showers being closed. Fresh water is available along with grey and black water disposal. EHU was available too. Within the site is a small fenced-off play area with swings, a chute and a climbing frame.Elsewhere on the site is a bothy cabin with a barbecue available for use along with chairs for relaxing in the bothy.Just adjacent to the site is a large secure area for exercising dogs. Also in this area is a pond with a canoe.Nairn is about 10 minutes away with the usual shops and amenities along with access to a beach and walks along the coast.
What a smart campsite! Well laid out for my camper van, spaced out EHU pitches with their own tap (bring a screw connector). Unfortunately the toilets and showers were closed due to freezing conditions, but it was on the website. I did book it in summer and I want aware of it though. A unique number pad barrier entry which is brilliant, dog walking area, play park for the kiddies, and friendly on site staff should you need them who are packed with local information. And Great flatland views which Is a contrast if you've just come off the Highlands.
Stayed one night in January - one of the few campsites in the area open for motor homes over winter. Easy access and helpful staff. In January they are only open for self-contained units as the showers and toilets are closed. Motorhome service point still open though. Pet friendly
If you want a quiet site this is it🤗got everything you need for caravaning.cleaner than clean showers and toilets.washing machine also.would recommend 👌🙋♂️🏴
