Nestled on the banks of the River Beauly and surrounded by woodland, Beauly Holiday Park offers a peaceful Highland retreat just one mile from the historic village of Beauly and approximately 10 miles west of Inverness. Its location beside the iconic Lovat Bridge places visitors in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, making it an ideal base for exploring both the east and west coasts, many of which are within an hour's drive. The park is also positioned at the start and finish of the renowned North Coast 500 route, making it particularly popular with touring holidaymakers and road-trippers.
Beauly Holiday Park caters for a wide range of visitors, offering around 85 camping, touring and glamping pitches. Guests can choose from grass pitches, hard-standing pitches and fully serviced pitches suitable for motorhomes, caravans, campervans and tents. Many of the hard-standing pitches provide riverside views, while fully serviced options include electric hook-ups, freshwater connections and grey-water drainage, ensuring a comfortable stay regardless of weather conditions. Bell tent glamping accommodation is also available during the main holiday season.
One of the standout features of Beauly Holiday Park is its modern facilities block, designed with touring campers in mind. The recently constructed toilet and shower building includes spacious shower and toilet cubicles, accessible washrooms, family facilities, baby-changing amenities and a laundry room. Additional conveniences include a pot-wash area, fridge-freezer facilities and mobile device charging points. Multiple freshwater points are located throughout the park, alongside grey-water disposal and chemical waste stations, ensuring practical support for touring vehicles. Wi-Fi is available across the site, allowing guests to stay connected while enjoying the tranquillity of the Highlands.
Families are particularly well catered for. A central children's play area features natural balance obstacles, imaginative play equipment and soft bark surfacing for safety. The park also provides communal social spaces including a large BBQ area, and picnic benches. Dogs are welcome free of charge.
Adding to the atmosphere is Captain Faff's Bar, the park's own on-site venue. Open during the main season, the bar hosts regular live music, quizzes and entertainment. The park also runs a programme of small-scale festivals and events throughout the year, offering visitors a chance to experience local music, culture and Highland hospitality in an intimate setting.
Nature lovers will appreciate the park's six-acre nature reserve, which includes woodland trails, bird hides and approximately 700 metres of pathways. Situated alongside the River Beauly, the reserve provides a peaceful environment for walking, wildlife spotting and unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The surrounding area is rich in history, with nearby attractions including Beauly Priory, the Caledonian Canal, Loch Ness and numerous castles.
