Anwoth Holiday Park is set inland in the town of Gatehouse of Fleet and maintains the same blend of quality and service that has set its livelier sister park, Auchenlarie, apart from the rest. If peace and tranquility are for you, they can certainly be found at Anwoth. Some of the finest landscapes and scenery that have inspired Scotland’s authors and poets are on your doorstep. In fact, the whole area is a haven for wildlife. Herds of deer can be seen roaming the landscape and, if you can be very quiet, you may have the opportunity to see otters living in their natural habitat. Birds of prey, red squirrels and a host of other wildlife, are all there to be found when you explore. For the fisherman, several major rivers, including the Esk, Annan, Nith, Ken, Dee and Cree, all of them notable for salmon and trout fishing, are close at hand.
You can stay closer to home and use all the facilities available at our parent park Auchenlarie (just 5 miles away). There you can use all the fitness facilities; enjoy the entertainment and live shows in the Starlight Suite and sample some of the great food available at The Surfside Bistro and Takeaway.
All our hard standing pitches feature 16amp electric hook-up, water points & TV Points
At Anwoth, all touring pitches are on a large grassed area in the middle of the park.
Anwoth is within a short walking distance of the very attractive Gatehouse of Fleet town, with its restaurants and bars, deli, cafés, convenience stores and gift shops too.
Nearby is Cairnsmore of Fleet, a mountain in the Scottish Lowlands, on the edges of Galloway Forest Park. It is home to the most extensive area of open moorland in Galloway, and has been designated as a biosphere reserve.

Small quiet caravan site. All in one clean well kept toilet washing cubicles. Residents and warden very friendly. Pity the weather cut in half our pre-paid camping week with 50mph winds and at the end of June, it wasn’t anticipated - that’s Scotland for you. At least we got a couple of nice days and memories to take away.
We really enjoyed staying on this small, friendly site. Facilities are good - well-maintained and clean. The town is great for eating out and there are miles of walks through the forest nearby. The whole town is very friendly and welcoming.
We've stopped at Anworth site lots of times. The site is within easy walking distance of all the Pubs and eateries of the lovely town of gatehouse, with good walking from the site. The site is quiet and immaculately maintained by the friendly staff. Water is always hot, individual bathrooms with shower/baths and indoor washing up/ laundry facilities make it like a home from home. Always love staying so close to town of Gatehouse of Fleet with lovely welcoming locals, and a great selection of pubs and eateries and a handy local supermarket to choose from. Site is quiet because most people with children opt for sister site of Auchenlairy. You also have access to use the facilities there such as pool should you wish. Excellent site
Nice clean quiet site, good shower block, easy walking distance to town and galloway forest walks, car never used
A lovely quiet site in the town, handy for local shops and walks. Lovely clean and accessible sanitation block. Great for our overnight stay.
Great location a short walk to the village, the facilities on site were very good the shower block and toilets were clean and fresh. Waste disposal both chemical and other were good and fresh water ehu as well as TV point available at each pitch, the pitches were well laid out and majority level. The site manager was helpful and polite, this is a great site and one which we will return to.
Located in the town so easy access to shops/restaurants etc.Great walks and cycling in the immediate area.Helpful and friendly wardens - great little site.
As the tile of the review, love gatehouse of fleet
