This gem of a campsite is close to Porthtowan beach and is such a beautiful site. There are plenty of walks along the countryside that are accessible from the site. You can use the games room ( pool table/ table tennis ) which is spotless and kitted out with local information on events and places to visit during your stay. The pride that the owners show in this campsite is second to none- it is absolutely immaculate and constantly being maintained and cleaned. The showers and bathroom facilities are excellent with hot water from a powerful shower which is quite a rarity. The shop on site is well stocked and the staff are very friendly and accommodating to your needs. The motorhome/caravan pitches are very well maintained also and some have stunning views of the beautiful landscape. If you are a dog lover there is a cute little dog garden where they can run free and play. In low season there is also an adjoining field where the dogs can roam safely. We throughly enjoyed our tim

Outstanding park Friendly Clean and we have rebooked

Friendly staff, excellent facilities. Toilets very clean and washing up area allways spotless. The grounds are allways in excellent condition. Also you can store your caravan here saving to have to travel all the way down to Cornwall in my case .

We were booked elsewhere for 1 night whilst walking the SW coast path. The day before we had our booking cancelled so we booked Porthtowan without doing our usual research. We were so impressed with the site, it’s beautifully laid out and everywhere is sparkling clean. The owner was very friendly and upgraded us to a serviced pitch. There is everything you need for a motorhome holiday and our only regret was we were only there for 1 night. Portreath is a short drive away and it was a perfect location for walking the coastal path. We would definitely recommend this site.

We have our caravan sited there, and it is an outstanding site, beautifully kept. We stay a couple of times a year and thoroughly look forward to our break there. The site owners are always accommodating and welcoming…

What a wonderful site, clean, extremely tidy and very friendly staff

Good clean camp site with well stocked small shop for all the bits that you forgot to bring with you accepted tow vehicle and race car with no problems security gate either keyfob entry

Our family would highly recommend Porthtowan Tourist Park. The site is well signed posted, easy to get to & access. You can pull into the site from the main road easily in ether a small car or towing a large touring caravan. It’s location is perfect for travelling in & around the local vicinity or slightly further a field. Perfect base for any activities that you wish to partake in around the beautiful Cornish beaches & attractions. All the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming & helpful. The site & all its facilities are extremely clean & well-maintained to an extremely high standard. The toilets & shower blocks are warm, welcoming, brightly lit, maintained & cleaned frequently. There is a shop on site which opens twice daily with everything you could need. You feel incredibly safe on site & this gives you full peace of mind when the children play in the park or go to the games room. Good value for money. Level pitches mean you can set up quickly & leave more time to relax & enjoy.

Very peaceful and lovely campsite. Owner could not do more to help you. Facility’s are very clean. Would definitely go back as it’s a great place to see and good location. The dogs had a great time aswell.Adrian

Always return to this site as we love the site layout, the friendly owners, the immaculate and well lit facilities and the fact that is doesn’t have a club, bar or entertainment. Who needs entertainment in such a beautiful area so close to many of the best locations in Cornwall! It’s a lovely family and dog friendly site.
