"Excellent site"

Mr T Sowood - Stayed with partner, Feb 2019

We've visited this site many times in all seasons and weather and always found it well run, friendly and very clean. The grounds are well maintained and it is a joy to stay here.

We stopped at the site during our trip around Scotland. It was one of the easiest sites to find and get pitched at. The location is perfect with a short walk to a supermarket and shops, restaurants, etc. The couple running the park were lovely. So helpful and very welcoming. Unfortunately the water pipes to the pitches were frozen on our visit (it was January) but there was water from the central facilities which was close by. We would definitely stay again if we visited this area again.

"Nice site"

Mrs F Wiltshire - Stayed with partner, Jan 2019

My only small point is that the waste disposal points on the serviced pitches are sometimes uphill from where our motorhome outlet is so the flow via a hose is not very good.

We enjoy its position being near to the town for the many shops and eating places. We also love this area for the endless walks that can be done from the park.

Grantown-on-Spey is a well cared, spacious for caravan site, the backdrop of the woods is the perfect setting. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with advice. The toilet and shower block was spotless and the under-floor heating was very welcome in the freezing weather. The park is well situated for access to the Cairngorms, the Highlands and local walks. The nearby (within walking distance) Co-op has all the essentials for caravan cooking. The wifi connection is excellent, we did not need the complimentary Freeview box. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

"The best"

Mr A McDonald - Stayed with partner, Jan 2019

This is the best caravan park I have stayed in so far and will definitely be returning. The staff could not do enough for you guiding you into your area and then helping with the set up of your TV nothing was a bother. Toilets/shower room immaculate underfloor heating.... "Getting greedy"

Anonymous - Stayed with partner, Dec 2018

Second year with you over the new year. Both booking changed with just less than a week to go? This year you want full payment when booking and no lower price for days outside of the holidays. Good luck with that hope you still get lots of bookings, but not me sorry.

We were, however, surprised to find that telephone and internet reception in Scotland and the Lake District was rather bad overall, including the campsites. The wifi at the campsite was adequate during daytime. The alternative was the reception building, but after closing times that meant sitting in front of the reception at freezing temperatures (as some work still needed to be done).
