We originally booked this site, our 3rd stay here, for November this year but due to travel restrictions had to keep changing the dates, finally made it on 4th time. This was no problem to the site staff. We arrived and were made very welcome then shown to our pitch. The high standards of this site remain as one of the best. We love the area as there are great walks everywhere, ideal for our Viszla dog. The bus service is very good from Grantown and Aviemore is only 30 minutes away. The Toilet blocks are as immaculate as ever, only slight improvement could be more hooks in the showers, one hook is not enough for clothes and your towel. Of course we'll be back.

Campsite deserves its 5 star rating. Well maintained. Staff are excellent and friendly. Great location close to woods. Facilities- Laundry very good. High Street struggling not much to offer visitors.

Very nice caravan park with helpful staff very clean site and excellent toilet facilities, good pitches for caravan and not far from local amenities, good for pets with lots of walks around the local area, a few of the local shops and pubs allow pets in.

As a regular to this site we go due to the fabulous site quality and facilities and also the great staff. However this time we have been left wanting as our experience was substandard from the get go. We emailed and then called in advance to arrange a specific area and indeed pitch for our stay which was booked and confirmed by email receipt. On arrival we were told we were in a completely different part of the site so I had to argue my point until they agreed to look to see if our original area / Pitch was available and then let us go there. Not the end of the world I grant you but when you agree specific requirements it is not okay to have to stand your ground to get that honoured. Then due to heavy rains our awning was completely flooded and I mean flooded. Door mat floated away, trainers floating etc and we are talking around 2 inches plus deep. I called reception to inform and they could not be less interested - they agreed we could move but as we had no footwear in caravan I asked if they had wellies I could borrow and understandably and as I expected they did not. So I had to wade into the water and just get wet. The staff member I spoke to did not come down to see if we were okay or if we needed help (we have 3 young kids with us) or if the new pitch was all okay. My usual experience of Grantown is superb and the staff go out of their way to assist and ensure we are enjoying our stay. What happened Grantown Caravan Park? There were only about 6 vans staying on site as it was super quiet. You certainly weren’t busy! Your report card: Must try harder!

Having stayed at the park before, We were very disappointed on arrival , we were aware that we had to stay in our vehicle until the Warden arrived, We waited over 10mins before i went to reception to say no one had arrived . I was met by a women who snapped at me that someone was on there way. After another 10 mins my husband went to try to find out our pitch number as it was now starting to get dark, again it was a forsty reception & told someone was on way, When someone came they did apologise for wait & went to tell the other people who were now queing . I feel if this women had just taken the trouble to come & inform us someone would be instead of ignoring us & then being quiet rude, If this had been my first visit I would not be back.

"Mountain view"

Mr C Sinclair - Stayed with partner, Nov 2020

We rented the Mountain View chalet. Immaculately presented and good Covid controls. If there are any improvements then maybe provide instructions for the heating. Oh and a bigger TV would be good! Superb accomodation and attention to detail. First class.
