Great stay again…

Mackay, Gail - 03/06/2024

This was not our first time staying at High Range campsite. We definitely recommend because location is fab for walking into Aviemore and all it has….supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, shopping in general. Italian restaurant on site but now owned by different people so can’t comment on food but have eaten here before. Can walk along the ski road for more places to eat and activities too. The facilities are spotless too. Motorhome service point. The site is set within trees so there are midges in summer and the A9 runs behind the site so during the day there is some road noise but it does quite at night although there is still traffic to some degree. This is why I give it 4* instead of 5. We would definitely stay again and will do so.

May holiday

Lots to do at Aviemore. Staff very friendly. Facilities spotless. The only improvement I could think of is if there was a grey water disposal point at lower touring area as we are in our 70’s and found the hill very challenging.

Aviemore again

Ashley, Martin - 30/05/2024

We are fairly regular visitors to Aviemore in connection with the Strathspey Railway. High Range is always our first choice camp site though we have stayed in others. The proximity to the Italian Taverna and other eating places is a recommendation, though advance booking is pretty essential.
