This is a very well run and kept campsite with beautiful surroundings. Lots of things to do for adults and kids. The castle grounds next door are beautiful. loads of walks cycling available and town just around the corner just a lovely camp in general.
Had a lovely time with family lovely site, clean and tidy.Toilets and showers basic but most importantly clean!
A nice quiet stay in a well maintained site, we enjoyed our stay and got up early on Sat to go on the ParkRun.Booking was easy and the individual codes are a good idea. The toilets is at least 300m away, which is a long way in the middle of the night.
The site was very well set out & gaining access was straight forward. The toilets & washing up area were clean & tidy. We stayed 2 nights & the site was very convenient for getting the ferry home from Belfast. Very quiet site until around 6:30am when runners were out on their morning run, we were pitched next to the river. It wasn't a big issue but if we went again we would camp away from the river. The Lough was great, we walked part way round until a new housing development blocked the path. All in all a very nice, well set out & clean site.
A perfect 1 nights stop over whilst touring around N.Ireland.Very close to Antrim city center (15-20 mins walk).Easy to book online. Easy access, just be careful of the speed bumps on the road up from the Antrim Forum. Will stay again next time we are touring NI.
Lots of walks.. nice site for my stay in the caravan.. the only thing is the electric junction box is in the way of putting your awning up .. really it should be placed at the back of your caravan like other sites..we spun our caravan round to get the sun on the side we where sitting out in..
Toilets need updating Disabled facilities were unavailable to me
The site was small and quiet, very clean and had all the amenities you needed.
We have been staying at Sixmilewater Caravan Park for many years. The park is located on the beautiful shores of Lough Neagh. The site is well maintained & clean. It’s always been a favourite - until this year. The past two times we’ve stayed, there have been “travellers” pitched just outside the caravan park, who managed to gain entry into the facilities for free. During our last visit (just last week) some were yelling, brawling. swearing & trashing their caravan. It was actually very scary! We had been assured by staff beforehand, that they had gone, but within days, more had arrived. It’s such a shame that a beautifully located site is being ruined by the presence of undesirable people. We’ll certainly not be back!
Great location with amazing walks near by. Was a little noisy with the path being so close, but could easily book a pitch away from the path. Really nice site and great value for money.
