We stayed at Six Mile Water Park at Antrim after the Loughshore Park in Jordanstown was closed due to impending Storm Kathleen. Diane, in the Parks Dept, was very flexible and we feel she went out of her way to do help us. Six Mile Water park is a lovely facility on the shore of Lough Neagh. There are lots of walks, play parks and a dog park. You can easily walk into the town although we didn’t due to the storm. There is a new cafe called the Boat House which looked lovely but isn’t dog friendly so we didn’t visit. The facilities are a little dated but there are plenty of showers, loos and dishwashing area. There are a number of pitches so it could get busy as the season goes on but we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

good site, well drained & dry

Pitch opposite us, children constantly kicking football and hit our motorhome on more than one occasion., then the drones started. Both ball games and drones are prohibited but people's disregard for the rules just spoil everyone else's enjoyment. Tumble dryer not working all the time we were there 4 nights. Nice area but there needs to be more warden supervision to keep the unruly in check.

We spent one night in the Six Mile Water Caravan Park and it was a gem. Lovely location by the lough, walking distance to Antrim town, quiet an great facility.

Brilliant site a lot to do around site .Have my next break booked Site is well looked after .Only fault was the tumble dryer was not working and showers could be a bit warmer Brilliant value for money.

Facilities are a little outdated but clean. Lots of door locks not working and a few shower heads missing. Also only hot water certain times of the day which is a bit poor. Overall we had a lovely time.

I have stayed at Sixmile quite a few times, and it has always been fantastic. There's plenty to do, either walking, golf, visiting local historical sites, or simply just relaxing. I would highly recommend it.

Sixmile water is a lovely site that is well taken care of & very clean. The facilities are great with plenty of toilets & showers, laundry & wash room. The tent area is at the far end of the site with pitches of good size however no ehu which would be good for longer stays. Location is perfect for kids & adults alike, with good size play park, nice park walks & Antrim forum only down the road.
