Had a wonderful stay with family and friends. Campsite was spotless. Pitches are level and a great size. A short walk to the Castle or town and lots to keep the kids entertained. Will definitely stay again!
Very clean and quiet site, even though it was almost full. Great access to quiet walks, children's playpark and restaurant. Lots of toilet roll. Not enough hot water for dish washing sadly.
We had a nice stay at Six Mile Water Caravan Park. It is clean and tidy and in a lovely park with beautiful gardens and a nice walk into the town. There are plenty of shops, bars etc in the town anything that you would need.Only problem we had was the water in the shower was cold :(
Dreadful weather but still enjoyed ourselves
We were surrounded by very warm and welcoming fellow campers.Unfortunately though, the pitches are not particularly private and could benefit from hedges between them.Sadly, were greeted on arrival by a significant amount of dog mess on our pitch!Said fellow campers may not have necessarily responsible as our pitch faced a side access gate to Six Mile River. The gate was rarely closed securely by guests on their departure from the site meaning that access could be obtained by dogs being walked along the river whilst off their leads.
Had a 2 night stay,it's a great spot, play park for the kids, restaurant on site although we didn't go to it our friends did and said it was lovely we will be back
This site is very well kept with good showers & toilet block requiring key code for access which are regularly cleaned. Each pitch has ample space to set up in which are also flat & level, even on grass sections. The EHU & water access is located perfectly at each pitch, only downside being that tent pitches don't have any EHU available. Location is beautiful with large park & close to Antrim forum for activities with only short drive to The Junction & town centre for shops & eateries.
Reasonably priced site and lovely walks along the riverside and into Castle gardens
The site is ideally located and is clean and well maintained. The pitches are a generous size . However our experience on this occasion means we wouldn't come back with little children again. Other campers at the time we were staying talked , shouted and swore well into the night , smoked weed and allowed thier dogs to bark. This did seem to be a minority but it tainted our first camping experience. Thankfully our children slept through it but it was still unpleasant and didn't live up to the "family" campsite we were expecting . The facilities are also unfortunately quite far from the tents and the showers were cold during the time when it was stated that warm water would be available. It looks like a fantastic site if staying in a campervan or caravan but perhaps less ideal for tent users.
Great sit for a wee short break, close to town, coffee, walks, all you need. Fully serviced site, easy on/off site.
